"Blaaaaake! Have you seen my watch?" Yang shouts from upstairs. Her best friend, Blake ,hears her running footsteps on the wooden planks at the second floor.

"You mean your black watch? No, I haven't." She raises up her voice for her to hear. Blake then flicks the page of her book.

"Ugh.." The blonde sluggishly walks down the stairs and plops on the couch beside Blake. "Where could it be?!"

"Where did you last put it?" She glances at her pouting friend.

"I don't know..maybe--oh snap! Ah, idiot!" Yang smacks her forehead with her palm, earning a raised brow from Blake. "I left it at Luceus' house!" She leans her back on her best friend and huffed a sigh.

Blake closed her book making a 'snap' sound. "How did it even get there?" She adjusts back on the couch due to Yang's heaviness that's causing her to slide from the cushion.

"Well, we were painting for a project and I had to remove my watch since it was getting a few speckles of paint." Her chin rests on her fist. "I think I placed it on the coffee table." The project was actually an individual task, but she needed assistance from someone who's both good in arts and is willing to help her. Thankfully, she knows the perfect person for that.

"Just go back to his house then."

At that, she started to whine. "It's too hot outside! And I don't wanna disturb him.." The last part was murmured by her while she fidgeted with her thumbs. Because of her fear that he might get annoyed of her bothering him, her expression went down. Although she is aware of his kind and patient attitude, the feeling that's pulling her back locks every plan of hers to be too comfy in being enthusiastic at the same time stubborn.

"Yang, if you don't agree with these options then I suggest you just text him and say that you'll get it tomorrow. At least he would be informed ahead of time." Blake puts down the book on the table before leaning back to the couch.

The blonde turns around, draping her arm around her best friend's torso and her cheek carelessly pressed on her shoulder. "But I need it nooowww! Plus, I'll lose track of time, heh." A smirk curves on her lips "Get the pun?"

Blake scratches a soft grumble and looks at her annoyingly. "You have clocks in your house, watches in the rooms and your phone! Why can't you just check those?!"

"It's precious, okay?" Yang tightly hugs her, receiving a scrunching and struggling face from her friend. She then loosens her grip before both of them heave another sigh.

"Care to tell why?" Her brow raises again.

"It was a gift from grandma a year before she passed..and that's the reason I always keep it close to me."

Blake reaches for her head and pats it comfortingly. "I'm sorry..."

"It's alright." Yang cracks up a small smile. "I'll just tell--" The chime of the doorbell cuts her off, and they both dart their eyes to the door.

"Who could that be in this time of day?"

"Only one way to find out." she stood up from the couch and headed towards the door. Her eyes widened as soon as she twisted the knob open. A pair of Amber eyes meet her lilac gaze and the addicting smell of the cologne scent enters her sense. The towering figure stands before her, blocking the blinding light of the noon. "Luceus..?" Her lips whisper.

"Y-Yang, hi. I, um, came here to bring this back to you." He pulls up a black watch from his checkered chest pocket and hands it out to her.

Her fingers slowly reach out and delicately take the watch from him. Her eyes looking at the accessory she is now holding and noticed the absence of the stains of the paint. "It's..clean." She observes it quizzically.

"Oh, I cleaned the paint away." He sheepishly chuckles, slightly averting his gaze.

Yang glances back up at him "I was about to message you that I was going to drop by to get my watch."

His lips tug in a warm smile "You didn't need to. I really planned to go here to bring it back, then my mom decided to just make a turn here since we were also about to attend a family gathering with my relatives." Luceus gestured behind him a sliver car with tinted windows in which she peeked to see.

She took another glance on the watch then back at him with a grateful smile. "Thank you."

"Glad to be of help." He nods "Well, I gotta go." Luceus starts to walk slowly back while waving lightly at her. "See ya around, Yang." He finishes off with a small salute then proceeds to the vehicle.

"Bye.." She softly says, her gaze following his moving figure. Her body stepped back inside and closed the door when she had seen him enter the car. That was unexpectedly pleasant. Her smile not fading from her face. Yang looks forward then immediately cocks her head back slightly with a raised eyebrow after seeing Blake smirking at her, head resting on her fist that was on top of the sofa. "What?"

"Charming. I like it." She giggles.

"Shut up." Yang rolls her eyes in response.

"Did I say I like it? I meant I like him." Her smirk grows wider.

"Blake, no."
