Danny Phantom In South Africa!

Dan's POV
I can't believe she would end her life to let me live. I feel so bad. I couldn't protect myself...how am I going to protect her then? Lani is an amazing girl and she gone through hell and back and back again. My number one question is, is how the heck did her sister survive her 'death'?"And who are you?" Richard asked, Lani's biological father."My name is Daniel James Fenton, but you can call me Dan and I'm Lani's boyfriend." I answered respectively."Do you know why my daughter has powers?" He asked."Well, as you know, her family was murdered and she got taken. The people who had taken her used her as a lab rat to figure out if a human can have ghost powers or not but it isn't impossible. She escaped and then she met Danny and we became her friends. Soon later we found out the same people whom hurt her escaped prison and then this happened." I said sadly.

"Who else has these powers?" He asked."Danny, Sam, Tucker and I." I said pointing at us. He sighed and rubbed Lani's hand with his thumb. Her breathing was slow and big."Can we get rid of her powers?" Sallg asked."No, my mom did some test and found out that it can kill Lani if she removes them, since she got her powers way differently than we did."  Danny explained. The nurse walked in and announced that visiting time was over.

I sighed and looked at Lani. My life won't be the same without her. What am I going to do? I turned invisible and stayed behind but sent a clone to fool them for now. I saw the lights outside switching off. I looked outside to see the stars was already shining their lights. Lani has to survive. She can't leave me and I can't leave her. My evilness might be minimal but if I lose her or anyone dear to me,...my core will switch back automatically to the way it was before. The only difference would be that I won't have fire powers like when Vlad was still controlling me. The nurse came and wrote down a few things and tucked Lani in. The room feels cold. My emotions are tied to my core and it will release some it out when I have an negative emotion. Won't the cold help her...since she has an ice core and if the room is cold then her core can heal faster. Isn't it?

I hummed a song that Lani said she's liked and I then started to actually singing it to her. The song was from her favourite band, Imagine Dragons."Cause I'm on top of the world, hey! I'm on top of the world, hey! Been feeling like this for awhile now!" I sang but stopped when I saw the door knob twitching. It was Dr. Gilbert. He came in and made sure the nurse did everything right. He looked at Lani and then at the heart monitor. Sam did say that Lani might never wake up. Did the Doctor say that cause it is unnatural that a human to have such a slow heart rate or was it because Lani was actually dying?"I hope it is the first one then." I whispered to myself and the Doctor left with a small smile on his face.

I looked at Lani to see the Doctor gave her new IV tubes that were clean into her arm. I will just say it, that she looks awful. Her scar went straight over her eye and her arms was coated with scars and bruises. The scars she gave herself wasn't even showing! I decided to stay at the hospital with Lani. I will leave to go to school not to draw suspicion. My phone vibrated and I looked to see it was a Whatsapp from Danny."Dan, it's really unhealthy to stay at the hospital. Please come to the hotel and rest. When Lani wakes up to see you never slept, she will be upset." Danny said over the voice note. I typed back, I know, that. I just don't want her to be alone. With a broken heart."We get that but do it for Lani." Danny typed back and I flew back an hour later. I fused back with the clone and fell asleep since everyone else was asleep already.

Tomorrow is going to be a LONG day!

Danny's POV
We were at the school. Once we need to leave Lani will come with us but with a hospital helicopter. Her father said that if she wants to stay with she can. I also just heard that Agent A is still at large. Today is just full of news. The team and I weren't even at the assembly room where they were having the assembly since the stage got destroyed. Dan, Sam, Tucker and I floated above the stage invisible."Where could Agent A be?" Sam asked." I don't know,...but there just has to be justice for Lani. This can't continue on." Tucker said. Dan was silent as the sound was in the night. I sighed."We're just gonna have to believe, she'll be okay. If Dan and I could survive, I believe Lani will." I said and Dan flew to the roof of one of the double stories classrooms. We followed him and turned visible. We're unnoticeable up here. Soon my parents came out of the office with one of their ghost trackers and immediately saw us."Danny come down please!!" She shouted and I floated down.
