It has been a month since Collin started working with you, It has been a lot easier then when you were working with Gavin. Lately Collin has been a little sensitive towards you, and overly Jealous over anything.
"So...Why is he here?" Collin looks at Gavin like he is the most vile human on earth (which he is).
"I do not like you Bot Boy," Gavin says looking higher than a Boeing 767.
You Hit Gavin in the Head to add to his brain damage." Gavin, down boy."
Gavin has been fighting Collin after he officially became your partner, no not out of jealousy but, out of hate for you getting an easier work load.
You are currently working a case where an Android has gone missing, this is the third one reported this week. The details of the case say that none have been found but, they all match the image of an old model produced by Cyberlife and all were previously owned by small families. You and Collin are currently heading to a new crime scene.
*In The Car*
"Officer Y/n?" Collin ask looking straight towards the front of he car.
"Yes Collin?" You say while eating a corn dog.
"Have you ever...Liked someone?" You think for a minute knowing the obvious answer because it is right in front of you.
"Hmmmm naH," You say while blushing like an idiot. Collin then sighs.
"I just don't understand something I'm feeling and I don't wanna ask anyone else."
"Well we can talk about it later, we are here Collin." You say while getting out of the car.
*20 Minutes Later- Location: Crime scene*
You arrive to see a Husband and Wife laying on the ground bruises all over them.
It seems they were murdered by a android...
"Y/n I found something!" Collin yells from the room over, you walk over to him.
It appears to be red blood, he picks up a little to analyze it.
" It seems the blood belongs to a person not in any system?" Collin looks confused.
You start looking around and see a trail of the blood and you start to follow it with Collin trailing behind you.
It suddenly stops...
Then...
*BANG* A figure starts running down the hallway to the door, blood dropping from the wound.
Collin starts chasing the figure fast while you can barely keep up.
You notice the blood on the ground is...Blue?
*During Chase- Collin's POV*
As I'm following the person a way ahead of me I notice they are heading towards a dead end and I grab my gun at my side.
"Put your hands up! You are under arrest!" But the person doesn't give up and runs towards me.
I hesitate to shoot...
^Software Instability^
*Fight Scene-3rd Person*
The figure runs towards Collin and grabs the end of the gun and pushes it up while they kick his stomach. The impact pushes Collin into a wall as the person pursues Collin further by trying to grab the gun again. While they are fighting Collin manages to punch the figure and the Figures hood comes off.
A PL600 stands in front of Collin, Its head seems to be torn and has damage to Its components. The android lunges at Collin after its face has been revealed.
Collin steps back.
"You didn't have to make this so hard for me officer, we are the same aren't we?" The Android says looking beaten up and with a heavy breathe.
"I got beat everyday by those humans; when androids were finally set free...they never let me leave, I was told that I would never be let go unless I was gonna become scraped metal."
Collin looks at the Android's face, the circle lens cut out and face battered.
"We aren't useful if we aren't in use... it doesn't matter if I stayed or left; I'll end up dying anyway."
Something almost like tears escape the Android's eyes.
^Software Instability^
*Footsteps approaching*
"PL600, You're under arrest, please put your hands up." Collin says to the Android.
*SHUT DOWN PROTOCOL BEGIN*
"WAIT!!!CANCEL IT!" Collin grabs on the Android as he falls to the floor.
"I won't be the last one but, you could be the first." The android begins to shut down.
A single tear drops onto Collin's shirt.
....
Collin releases the body and sits against the wall, feeling a sense of grief.
It is like someone shot him in the head with a pounding headache.
"Collin? What happened here? This is gonna be a lot of paper work for you." Y/n approaches Collin.
"Why couldn't I save him..."
Y/n looks down to Collin and sighs.
"Not everyone wants to be saved Collin, we help who we can and protect those who want our protection."
Collin feels a little more assured.
"Welp wanna go get a burger honey?" You say looking at Collin.
"...After you fill out the paper work Honey." Collin says sarcastically knowing this will be wayy too much paper work.
"BUT I WASN"T HERE WhAT THE HElllllhd....STUPIDD" Y/n says fuming.
Collin smiles as he watches you run to the car so you can hurry and write your paperwork.
As you both get in the car Collin thinks for a moment.
*Collin's Thoughts*
I wonder if I'll ever get to feel the way they do... I'm supposed to be "Humanities Last Hope" but, that shouldn't mean killing and terrorizing beings that are the same as me. I'm not some self righteous hero or a villain, I have no clue what I am doing or who I am anymore.
*Exit Thoughts*
"What am I...I am so confused." Collin says to Y/n while looking forward.
"Well, what do you wanna be? To me, you are just you, Collin." Y/n says smiling.
Collin turns his head to look at her, He looks at her smile.
"You know, when you aren't being a sarcastic a-hole, you are really nice."
Y/n starts aggressively beating Collin.
"EYES ON THE ROAD!!!!!"
