Let me see you in this light.
The glass case, the blue sky from the window
And me. Just me. Hi again.
You're silent but i can see
Your face in mine and mine in your eyes
Like pale, luminous orbs in disguise.
And i swear i can hear you breathing
I swear on my life
I see the slightest mist,
the dullest fog.
Life projecting on the cool clear surface.
So I put my hands up
Let my palms rest upon the case
Hear your heart speed up, your breath hitch
I say, you'll break the glass, please don't shout.
And you whisper "please let me out."
