Chapter 1

Noah's p.o.v

*Ring* *Ring*

I wake up to my alarm going off, sighing I roll out if bed and grab my phone and turn it off, I grab a black T-shirt, a blue hoodie, some black jeans, and some blue converse heading into the bathroom in my room. I take a quick shower and change into my other clothes, brush my teeth and walk out of the bathroom into my room and grab my phone, backpack and keys.

"NOAH!" I heard someone shout from outside.

I look outside and see my bestfriend Lia waving her arms around in the air, behind her i see her twin brother Liam waving up at me with a smile on his face.

"ill be down in a minute come inside" I told them, they nodded and walked into my house.

I quickly gather the rest of my things and head downstairs where i heard my friends talking to my mom.

"Hey guys I'm ready lets head down to school" I say as they walk over to me.

"But sweetheart you haven't had breakfast yet" My mom said to me.

"Don't worry mom ill be fine" i smile at her.

"Noah were gonna gonna be late to-" She was saying before she was cut off by the tv.

"breaking news a small meteor is heading towards sunny side at a rapid pace and will hit right outside of the town, when it hits expect a small earthquake when it lands, we will keep you updated as the story develops" with that the tv goes back to whatever show was on when the broadcast started.

" C'mon Noah were gonna be late" Lia exclaimed while struggling to pull on my arm.

"Okay okay lets go" i laughed as we walked out of the house.

"You kids be safe and take cover when the earthquakes happen" My mom called after us.

"Okay mom we will see you after school" i waved at her.

"Hey Noah" Lia said to me.

"Yeah Lia" I asked

"Race ya!" She yelled as she took off running down the street.

"Hey no fair!" I called after her as Liam and I followed her laughing.

*Time Skip 6th period*

I walk into the gym locker room I open my locker and change into my gym clothes.

Suddenly i felt a hand on my shoulder i turn around and see Liam with a smile on his face, as soon as i see him my face instantly turned red because he was shirtless, you see something i forgot to mention was i had a tiny crush on him and seeing him shirtless threw me for a loop.

"Oh h-hey Liam" I stutter.

"Hey Noah" He smiled his cheeks turning pink slightly.

"I thought you had gymnastics today" I asked slightly confused.

"Were in the main gym today since you guys are going to be in the pool" He explained.

"That makes sense" I laughed.

"Yeah well i have to go the teacher is calling us, see ya after school" He smiled as he was putting a white tank top on while walking away.

"God dammit" I said resting my head on the cool metal of the locker.

"Millers class head to the pool" The assistant teacher said to us.

We all walked out of the locker room and down to the pool where the teacher was waiting for us.

"We are going to do a race today it will be a race of four the one with the fastest time wins" he explained walking back and forth.

"The first four to go will be Noah, Ben, Skyler, and Thomas, get up to the podiums and get ready to start" He said pointing to the four of us.

We got up into our starting positions as the teacher blew his whistle, we all dove into the water and suddenly there was an explosion outside and an earthquake followed, after the earthquake i felt this emense pressure in my body as the water around me swirled, I saw a flash of purple and blue as my vision fadded to black.
