I was writing an article for my company. My job mostly dealt with writing articles about what we do and some major recovery projects that our company has done. Oh, I also deal with invoices and incoming calls. I was hired about a week ago, actually. My best friend is Elena Fisher, well, now Elena Drake. That's how I actually got my job. Heh, weird.

I work for her husband. I didn't mind. I actually like the smaller job areas. I work better with people when there aren't many people, but my limit is usually about 10 people.

"Hey, Delilah, how's the job coming along?" Nathan peaked in my office, in his wetsuit.

"It's going well. Do you want me to do anything while you're diving?" I asked as I closed my laptop.

Nathan thought for a few seconds, "Umm... you can organize some files, if you're feeling up to it. I'll be gone for a while. I'll be with Jameson." I nodded, "Anybody can do organizing. I'm sure a trained monkey could do it," I said with a chuckle.

Nathan laughed at me. "You remind me of somebody. Had the same sense of humor as you."

I got up and lightly shoved him. "You better go. You have to go and do your job. Elena would kill me if she found out that I was the reason why you didn't get your paycheck."

Nathan chuckled, going in the direction that I was pushing him. "Alright, alright, haha. See you in about an hour or two. I gotta go get the bed of a truck that went off the bridge," he said as he was heading out the door.

I nodded. "Alright, go have fun then," I said as I started pulling out some drawers.

I heard the door closing and I walked into his office. I looked on his desk, and saw some files. I decided to flip through them. Some of them were familiar and put them back in their order when I finished reading them. I saw a gun over in the corner of my eye. I used to work with guns. Heheh.

I actually knew Nathan. I worked for Atoq Navarro. I knew Elena worked with Nathan, at the time. I didn't want to hurt her feelings and so I tried my best to hide from her at any point.

I'm not what I seem. Nobody knew this. If anybody found out, and told Elena... I'd be crushed. We've known each other since we were in high school.
