Waverly hadn't moved since Wynonna left. After Alice's hand squeeze, nothing else had happened via Alice. Waverly had stared at Alice for a long time, but Alice didn't move. Standing, Waverly paced around the room. She hated just waiting around, but this always happened. She was still learning to shoot a gun, but Waverly could be a badass as much as anyone else. Waverly just didn't get her chances all too often.

Having not heard from Nicole, Waverly was concerned about that. She dialed Nicole's phone number and waited. It rang and rang, and no one picked up. "Hey, Nicole, this is... me. I'm just wondering how things are going," she said as her eyes wandered back to Alice, who now laid on her face. "I'm here with Alice. Call me back." Hanging up, Waverly walked over to Alice and hovered over her. "Alice?"

Alice's crystal blue eyes opened in shock, and she sat up immediately. Waverly and she almost knocked heads.

"Whoa, hey," Waverly called.

Alice's narrowed eyes looked alertly around the room, and then they came to her. "They're coming."

"Who?" Waverly wondered.

"Revenants," Alice breathed, "the Old One."

Waverly swallowed.
