HI! IT'S ME AGAIN! YEAH, A NEW BOOK YAY! I KNOW WHAT YOUR ALL THINKING, WHAT ABOUT YOUR OTHER BOOK? WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU UPDATED THAT TRASH? AND WELL... IDK PROCRASTINATION!!!! BTW THIS WILL BE AS BAD AS MY OTHER BOOK SO YEAH...

- call me what you want

Lance pov

It started like any other rescue mission, Keith, and Shiro in front, Hunk with Pidge to shut down the cameras, and I was the bait. All was going to plan, the cameras were out, so were the main guards. We only had to find the cells and get the prisoners out.

As Pidge opened the cell door, I heard something that sounded like a ticker in the back, so I strayed further into the cell to get a better look. What I saw though, wasn't a ticker, it was a bomb!

I called for Pidge but she couldn't hear me or she decided to ignore me again. It didn't look like there was a lot of time left on the bomb so I picked it up and took it over to where Pidge and Hunk were helping the prisoners.

"Hunk! Pidge! I found a bomb! Quick! You need to-" I never got to finish my sentence before it starting beeping and Hunk had taken it from my arms.

They disabled it 2 ticks before it went off, and set it down, the prisoners looked terrified and backed away from the disabled bomb. Hunk and Pidge were breathing hard, but when they met my eyes there was a sharp edge. I didn't know what I did, but I would soon.

The prisoners were resting in the healing pods when I was cornered by the team. "Lance" Pidge spoke first.

I internally cringed, but kept my face blank as I replied:  "Yes, Pidge?"

It was Keith this time "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!" my eyes widened but I stayed silent. I knew the drill, yelling back would only make it worse.

"Lance buddy..." Hunk was shaking his head in disappointment. My heart sunk, this was really bad.

Allura walked in then and see the team surrounding me asked "What he do?" with an annoyed voice.

"He found a bomb, and instead of getting one of us, decided to bring it over to where the prisoners were and RISK THEIR LIVES!!!" Pidge yelled the last part, she had a valid reason to though.

I looked at the team as they continued to yell at me, I hadn't realized I was putting people in more danger, I didn't think about the risks, I just knew I needed to get rid of the bomb. My eyes started watering at the edges, but I quickly rubbed them away, I don't want the team thinking I was weaker than they already knew.

They had me backed up against the wall and were ranting on about my mistakes on this mission, and what I could have done differently. I realized Shiro had yet to speak, he was just staring at me, with a blank face and unblinking eyes as he slowly said,

"Lance won't be going on the next mission."

That's when I knew, I needed to leave, needed to get better.

I laying on my bead brainstorming ways how I could leave, but for the team to still be able to form Voltron. I didn't want to leave them without Voltron for however long I would be gone for. When suddenly I heard Blue calling me to her chamber.

When I arrived, she blocked the entrance by standing in front of it and successfully blocking my way out.

"What was that for?" I asked her confused. You're not going to like this conversation. Blues voice echoed in my head. "Why?"I asked, sitting down. You cannot leave the team. Oh, that's why. I sighed and in a monotone replied "I need to blue"

I heard her growl out loud.

"Wohh calm down girl, I'll be back, I just..." I cast my eyes to the ground "I need some time, and it's not like I'm really wanted here anyway" it may have been my imagination but I could have sworn her eyes glowed a little red for a second.

My son... Blue started, but I cut her off "No don't deny it, I cause more damage than anyone else," I sighed shoulders slumping. "I put people at risk, I don't think through my decisions, and until I can fix that, I'm a danger to the team and the mission." I looked up at my lion "I'm doing this Blue, with or without your approval."

You're needed on the team more than you know... blue tried again, I gave her an incredulous look, "Please, blue, I need to do this." If lions could sigh I swear this one just did.

Slowly Blue moved from her spot blocking the door, come back tomorrow I have something for you. She said suspiciously. "Okay, " I stopped at the door and looked back, "thanks Blue" I said as I left.

I woke up the next day regretting all my life choices. (ME TOO LANCE)

Why oh why did we eat as a group? I couldn't skip they would know something was up, that also crosses out, going early, maybe I could go really late? They probably would get mad, do I really want that after yesterday?

I shook my head, I would go to breakfast and try to be as unnoticeable as possible. I got dressed, cleaned off my mask, and got to the door of the dining room and stopped. My hand hovered over the open pad ready to press open, when a thousand scenarios started to play in my head, most of which end with yelling, screaming, and or tears.

Tears made their way into my eyes as I backed away from the door. Feeling pathetic I ran away from the kitchen and towards the training deck. I can't even look at my friends, how sad am I?

I arrived at the deck, changed into my armor and grabbed my bayard. "Activate training level 3, gladiator," I told the computer not wanting a challenge. I moved to the corner and got my sniper out.

The gladiator dropped to the ground as I shot it and it stumbled but rebalanced. I shot again, but missed, the gladiator was running at me and damn can it run fast. Before I knew it the gladiator was in front of me swinging its stick thing. I was trying to block the blow with my gun when I realized it wasn't a gun anymore, it was a sword. My gun had somehow turned into a sword and as the realization of that hit me, I stumbled and the gladiator got in a fatal blow. "Training level 3 failed" boomed the computer.

"Yeah, I got that" I mumbled as I sat up. Just then I heard laughing coming from the hall.

"Level 3? Really?" I recognized it through the laughter as Keith,

"Yeah, who fails level 3? Pft even I can pass that one." that was Pidge.

As the laughter faded down the hallway and tears stung my eyes for the second time today, I diced I would go see what Blue had wanted to show me yesterday.

My child Blue echoed in my head as I entered the room. "What did you want to show me?" I asked harshly. My son, what is wrong? Blue asked, concerned. "Nothing, I just-" I cut myself off with a sigh, "I don't want to talk about it, okay?" Very well, "now about that thing..." ah yes, if you'll step inside Blue complied.

As I stepped inside, Blue started directed me to a new part of her that I've never seen before. She stopped me before a door, now use this wisely she warned before opening the door to reveal mounds of credits. The main money source in this side of the universe.

I was shocked to say the least, as I fumbled for words. "I- wha? the fuck... How?" Blue chuckled in my head, and she started to explain. Well, Blaise, my old Paladin, left money for the future Paladin, you, so that you wouldn't go broke. The other Paladins did the same, save Zarcon.  "Okay, that makes sense, but why am I just learning about this now?" I asked He told me to wait until you needed it.

And then it clicked, she was helping me she didn't like it, but she was helping me.

 My plan was in motion.
