After a gruelling four months of attending Les Twins scheduled appointments and military charity events to which we thoroughly enjoyed, we were on a well needed break. Our first port of call, travel with our BF's and there girls to visit our mama's, for a few days of 'Rest and 'Relaxation. As usual, our plans for 'R and 'R didn't exist. We couldn't help but go out and spoil our ma, returning home a week later, with our ma in tow
Days later we all traveled to Nirvana Pines for a picnic and stroll about. As we were driving to our destination we saw Teddy (Ted), Jason (Jay), Shaun, Kristopher (Kris), Thomas (Tom) and Eric throwing a ball about in an open area. Locating a parking area close by, we parked up and shut the engine off. With us all carrying something we lead the way ignoring Christine (Chris) wanting to go somewhere else continuing to a plush spot, the blankets were laid out and we began to set up Ted: Hey y'all, how y'all going - we all turned to see them approaching Ted, Jay, Rosetta (Rose) and Linda (Lin) stopped in there tracks when they saw our ma. Their smiles said it all. They all hugged our ma. Like us our ma was shocked when she met Shaun and Kris and smitten when she met Tom and Eric, the rest of us then greeted.
Our ma invited them to join us, Shaun, Kris and the boys volunteered to retrieve their picnic attire and strolled away. Ted and Jay fussed and teased our ma, Rose and Lin, earning them playful arm slaps.
When they returned we went about laying the blankets side by side and placing our food and their food together in the middle. We all settled on the blankets, our ma blessed and we dug in Ma: Belles not with you today Ted and Jay, Shaun and Kris and the boys: Cookies/pumpkins/mums are on their way ma'am - We all looked at them stunned Rose: Y'all get use to it after a while Lin: It's worse when we're in the mix Rose: It's a nightmare when girlies join in Ma: Boys . . . What aren't you telling me - Ted, Jay, Shaun and Kris looked at our ma Ted: Ma'am, cookies husbands passed nine years ago today Ma: Say no more - they head bowed Ma: Now . . . Tell me what is it you do in the army Shaun: Ma'am . . . . . What we do isn't an appropriate subject to talk about over a meal - our ma agreed Kris: In saying that, Shaun and I are navy officers Our ma, BF's, Chris and Ang learn what we already know. We then learnt Kris and Shaun are also Navy Doctors. We all then talked about our childhood days, bellies were hurting and tears streaming down our faces from laughing, we were all little shits!
Our laughter was disturbed by music. We all looked to see Sapp and Kat folk dancing while holding onto their horses reigns and Rascal and Sonic moving around them, they looked cute (see sample pic)
