So much can happen and it tears me to bits

I want you to grow but I won't lie I'm scared
I don't know what I'd do if you were no longer here
I want you to stay but I know you must go
Because all it takes is one word, just one to know
You're leaving so soon and I hope it's what you want
Don't worry I'll be here, to help not to haunt
I want you to know that I'll never forget you
Because all it takes is one friend, just one friendship
