Empty chairs surrounding me
Holding people with empty faces
I do not belong in here
But they're holding all the acesSitting next to nothing
Then hearing it say 'Hi.'
I turn to my left and right
I look from side to sideI don't belong here, get me out
I can't stay here, I'll drown
All the emotion, all feelingless drought
I am ever so slowly drifting downThey're weighing me down like rocks in a bag
Being here all alone, my life's caught on a snag
I'm crying out help, I'm pleading my all
But one day they'll trip me, and then i shall fall

The Personal Poems of a Personified Poet
PoetryI write poems to relieve stress, anxiety, depression. I write for others too. When they need to hear something but the words won't flow, I write and have something to show.
