Chapter 47 : A Gem tree

It just made me realize that it was . This stupid fantasies of theme still being here was bullshit . They are gone and that's it . They are just gone. Hearing some stupid execuses just so people can comfort themselves . It was making me sick. I don't know Why I was fine when kyungsoo was telling me that .. maybe because he was actually naive enough to believe it himself . But with my mum I knew damn well that she was aware of the bullshit she was talking .
,, you can't just-"
,, what ? Speak the truth ?"

,, let's not argue ok .." kyungsoo also stood up pulling her down to sit again after had picked the chair up .
,, it's suppose to be a good evening since you've returned and everything we even made cake, jongin come on " he moved to sit besides me now more than besides her

,,eat your cake big grumpy peanut"
I looked away, annoyed to the ground as he spoke in his fake monster voice to tease me before he picked the spoon with cake up again to make me force eat it.

,, we should head back soon anyway it's getting late don't you 2 have school tomorrow too ? "

He dropped the spoon onto the plate with a gasp ,, yeah oh god .. I totally forgot " in an instant he jumped to his feet and I rose my head when he disappeard into our room .
Well we bearly used that room anymore ever since he puked over the mattress because I had thrown it away and we spend the nights on the couch

My mum looked sat me for a moment but I just shock my head slightly to sign her that I didn't know what he meant

Altho he returned with a small box wrapped in colourful papers and a few small flowers pinned together on it .She gasped over its looks
,, oh it's so pretty .."

He giggled looking over at me when I stared at him in confusion
,, what the fuck is that ?"

,, it's a present or a thank you .. actually for both of you.. because you will take me in for the time being and .. I just felt the need for it" he blushed a little adverting his eyes to look at her after we had shared eye contact too long .

I got to my feet walking over to my mum as she took a photo of the pretty looks of only the present . I guess it was so pretty because he used so many different coloured papers . It didn't look like the cheap ones they sell for 50ct besides the exit of a small shop. It actually looked like it was a lot of work ..

,, ok let's unwrapp it ?" Mum looked at me excitingly and I shrugg my shoulders letting her start since she obviously wanted to.

And when she did , carefully removing all the papers and opening the box she pulled out a small tree with sparkling light rosa stones attached to them .

It was taking me a moment to let it all sink in as she observed it and I did aswell .

,, it's called a gem tree .. They said it stands for luck, so I thought it was a good choice .. " he smiled nervously fidgeting with his fingers like he always does .

,, it's beautiful " she took the words right out of my mouth .even tho i knew i wouldve never said them myself with her being in the room .

,, you like it ?"

,, ofcorse I do .. we both ,kyungsoo it's realy beautiful thank you " she moved to get closer to him before embracing him in a hug carefully to not drop the fragile tree before I took it out of her hands for safety .

I myself looked over it again and smiled a little as I sat it down onto the table .hearing kyungsoos voice explaining it further in the background,, I was going to bring it to the airport but I forgot .. "

,, it's ok it could've broken on the drive or something I'm glad you didn't.. " they continued talking while I looked over the tree touching the gems a little and watching as almost the whole tree shock a little ...
why did I like it so much.

,, you're welcome too " a kiss suddenly landed on my cheek and I flinched a little to the side to have kyungsoo giggling at me .
