We walked for a while talking about nothing in particular when a large building came into view.

Wilfred: "What's that?"

I looked over to where he was pointing and I saw my old school.

Regina: "Oh that's my elementary school when I was little girl."

Wilfred: "Elememtary...? That's where children gather to learn things?"

Regina: "Yes. Oh, did you have your schooling through a tutor?"

Wilfred: "Yes. I was meant to go to the school, but then something happened..."

He seemed to be remembering something as he looked out at the school grounds. He seemed to have suddenly noticed about something.

Wilfred: "What's that tree called...?"

Regina: "You might have them in Philip as well..."

Regina: "When the new school year starts they blossom with small and pink flowers."

Wilfred: "Hmmm..."

Regina: "When the blossoms fall of they all float into the wind like the confetti at the parade. It's very pretty."

Prince WIlfred responded emotionally.

Wilfred: "That's all I ever wanted for myself if the time came for me to fall..."

I was confused by this sudden statement.

Regina: "Huh...?"

He touched the gate lightly as he looked at me.

Wilfred: "I suppose about we wouldn't be allowed to go in here?"

Regina: "Probably not. It's still early and I don't think they allow strangers to enter."

His shoulders drooped in disappointment at my response.

Wilfred: "I see..."

I was still wondering what his previous words meant and I studied him as I asked.

Regina: "About what you side when we were talking about blossoms falling..."

He chuckled.

Wilfred: "I don't feel that way now. Not what I have you."

He touched my face as he spoke.

(Oh...)

While I was reassured by his touch as there was a sadness in his eyes that made my heart tremble. I remembered the number of times as I had seem like that recently.

Wilfred: "You don't need to look so worried."

Regina: "Wilfred..."

He stroked my hair gently and my heart wavered in answer to his touch.

(He would never fall...)

I looked past the gate and into the school grounds before I speaking softly.

Regina: "Um..."'

Regina: "We were talking about you having a tutor just now, but..."

Regina: "What was your childhood like?"

Prince Wilfred's eyes widened at my question.

Wilfred: "My childhood?"

Regina: "Yes. What subjects about you liked or what's your dreams were."

He held his own chin contemplatively and he stared out into the school grounds.

Wilfred: "Before I was announced as heir to the throne and I didn't know much about such things..."
