Sensory Detail:

My eyes capture the ugliness and I try to see what is true, what is hidden underneath. I see trees standing tall and solemn with a backdrop of grays and yellows shining though their branches. I see blurred words on a whiteboard, strained and hazy by my failing eyesight. I see spider webs cling to the door frame of my grandmother's decaying house.

My eyes capture the beauty and I try to see what is hidden away. I see a glass filled with murky red water and I see vibrant colors splashed across an expanse of white paper. I see delicate yellow flowers on my nightstand with a note that says,"Love from little sis". I see pancakes my mom left for me in the microwave because I slept through her calling me to wake up. I see my older sister smile like an idiot because she has been swept away by how fantastic her guy is.

My eyes see many things, but I think the most important thing about this is not just to see. You need to feel, need experience anything and everything. Sight is just one sense you can poses. Use all of your senses to truly experience life to it's fullest.
