I woke to the scent of my favorite: waffles. And I knew what these waffles smelled like. Only one person on the planet could make these types of waffles. My one and only Prashanth LOL.

I walked downstairs and saw him washing his hands at the sink. I slapped his head lightly and said good morning.

"Wow, this is what I get for making your favorite breakfast item?" he asked with a smile.

"Hehe" I fake laughed as I poured syrup onto them.

I squinted at the waffles and asked with a smile, "you put chocolate chips in them?"

He nodded yes. "I know you like them better than my normal ones," he said as he sat next to me with his plate.

Prashanth is nothing but nice to me all the time. He's always there for me. I don't think I could love anyone more than I love Prashanth. Not even Dulquer Salmaan. My phone vibrated as I thought of his name.

@dqsalmaan: Appu! The date has been set, darling! August 15th. Does that work out for you?

"Who is it?" Prashanth asked.

"My husband," I said smiling at my phone.

"What does he want from my Appu?" he said with a laugh.

"Easy there Prashanth" I replied laughing. "He says he wants to meet August 15th, but yo I can't believe he's actually serious about meeting me. Like I thought he just said that because he wanted to leave a friendly reply to a fan ya know?" I said

"Okay first off," Prashanth started, turning his position to face me. "Your whole f*cking twitter account is filled with 50% pictures of him and his retweets. Second of all, how could he resist meeting someone who looks as good as you?" he said.

"Awhh Prashanth!" I said with puppy dog eyes. "But true" I quickly added with a laugh. "So should I confirm August 15th since we're leaving on the 8th?" I asked as I stuffed my last piece of waffle into my mouth.

"Yup" he replied. "works for me."

"Thank you for the amazing breakfast," I said as I washed my plate. "I'll go change and we'll go out or something," I said.

Prashanth nodded okay as I walked upstairs.

August 8th (The day of the trip)

Prashanth's POV:

"I'm already running late," I told myself as I threw on my Adidas sweats and a plain white tee. I sprayed some deodorant and rubbed my wet hair with a towel before rushing downstairs. I looked at the time that read 12:30 pm. "Shit!" I said loudly as I walked out the door with my luggage.

"Em aindhi ra?" (translates to What happened?) asked my dad.

"I told Appu that I'd pick her up at 12:00, Nanna," I told him.

"It's okay she already knows how late you are anyways" he replied with a laugh.

As I walked out, I looked at a picture of my mum that was in my wallet. "Love you ma, I miss you," I said as I walked out. Amma died six years ago because we found out late that she was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer. After she died, Appu was the only one who was there for me. I love her so much. The only thing is that I have feelings for her and I'm way too scared to tell her. I just don't want to ruin all 23 years of friendship between us. I waved bye to my dad as my car pulled out of the hotel lobby. He was going to stay back for a couple weeks to take care of a small business he has here.

I finally pulled up at Appu's place and called her.

"Vocha, baitiki raa" (translates to I'm here, come outside) I told her.

"Vosthunna" (translates to I'm coming) she replied.

She came out looking stunning (as always) and screamed "LET'S GO" loud enough to startle me.

"Woah chill," I replied with a laugh. And we drove off to the airport.
