Chapter 12: "Teasing isn't nice"

*Becky's POV*

I woke up, feeling the spot next to me. I frowned when I noticed it was empty. I sighed and pushed the covers off me, and made my way to the bedroom door. I walked down the stairs and immediately, something delicious filled my nostrils. I made my way into the kitchen, and smiled once I saw Carter standing in front of the stove. I walked closer wrapping my arms around him. "Well good morning. How did my beautiful girl sleep?" He spoke. "Great actually" I giggled. "Good. Are you hungry?" He asked. I smiled. "Very" I said, kissing his back. He chuckled. "All right then" he said, flipping a couple pancakes onto a dish. He repeated it for the second plate. I let go of him, and took a seat at the table. He turned around and set one plate in front of me, and the other across. "I'm afraid this is all I'm good at for now" he smiled. I giggled. "No, this is perfect. Thank you" "You're welcome princess" he sat down and we started eating our breakfast. "These are really good" I told him. Carter chuckled. "I'm glad you like them" he smiled, finishing the last bite before getting up to put away his dish. I finished after him and did the same. I grabbed the sponge, and started washing the dishes. As I was rinsing them off, I felt Carter's arms snake around me. His head in the crook of my neck, kissing that spot. "You know you didn't have to do those. I could have" he breathed against my skin. "But I wanted to" I giggled. He laughed and rested his chin on my shoulder, just watching me finish up. Once I was done, I turned my head to the side and smiled. "Having fun there?" I giggled, as I asked him. He simply chuckled. "No, because I'm bored as hell and my girl would rather clean dishes than be with me" he pouted. I giggled at his cuteness. I turned around facing him and put my arms around his neck. "If that's what you really think" I said snickering. He chuckled. "So you would rather be with me instead of those dishes?" "I mean, I'm already done with them. So yep. My full attention is on you now" I smiled. He rolled his eyes playfully before speaking. "Oh wonderful. I'm second best" I laughed, "Nah, you're always first best" Carter smirked at that as he lifted me up, and onto the counter. I wrapped my legs around his waist and decided to tease him a little by licking my lips while staring right into his eyes. Something I've learned that drives him crazy. I watched his eyes as they fell to my lips. Licking his own, I heard him groan. I giggled knowing I got him. "You know, teasing isn't nice" he growled. I chuckled. "I learned from the best" He smirked and put his hands on my waist. His head moved to my neck leaving sweet kisses. I felt his hands glide up to my arms and unwrap them from his neck. He did the same for my legs that were around his waist. He then steps back and looks at me with a evilish smirk. I stared at him confused. "What are you doing?" I asked, trying to reach him but failed because he backed a couple feet away from me. I frowned, and he chuckled. "See, it's not nice to tease" he smirked. I crossed my arms over my chest. "You're no fun" I huffed. His lips formed into a devilish grin as he came back closer. "Oh really?" He stated. I raised an eyebrow. "Yes, really" I said back. He only chuckled, following with a smirk as he was now a foot away from me. I hopped off the counter and ran past him. I got towards the stairs, only to be picked up and thrown over his shoulder. "CARTER PUT ME DOWN" I yelled. He didn't listen, he just laughed at me. "Nope" is all he said. I hit his back with my fist, but not too hard to hurt him. "LET ME DOWN" I said again. "Well if you insist" he said, as I saw him walking to the couch, before dropping me on to it. I fell right on my back. "Happy?" He said smiling. I looked up at him before speaking. "Thank you" I said sarcastically. He chuckled. "Anytime babe" I smiled at him. I swear we have the most bizarre moments sometimes. But to be honest, I love them. Even the craziest moments always turn into something beautiful. I sat up and went up to Carter, wrapping my arms around him. He smiled at me as his arms wrapped around my waist, holding me close to him."I'm sorry for what happened, and I promise to never do it again" I said. He chuckled. "I'ma hold you to that" I giggled leaning in and kissing him. "I love you" I said pulling away. "Right back at Cha babe" he said back, chuckling.

Man, I couldn't get enough of this boy.
