when I told him to listen to that Song,
because I liked it
And he tuned in for only a moment
and told me it was too depressing,
that it was all wrong
And then Months later
I'm in the car with you,
and He is long gone
And I hear it come on the radio
I hadn't heard it
for so Long
And as the memory
Came flooding back,
I froze when I heard you
Sing along
As your voice filled that Car
my friend rolled her Eyes
beside Me
and I started Smiling
I realised,
He did not matter anymore.
