“I'm still not sure why you want me to answer these kinds of questions,” expressed Connor, confusion written all over his face.

He was on his designated desk at the DPD, looking at some cases that were still ongoing until he saw you approaching him with a wave of your hand. He had returned the gesture but was caught off guard when you proposed some kind of small game, in which Connor heard along the lines of “like a small trivia game.” He didn’t know exactly why you would want to play something like that at this exact moment.

“I'm just curious, that's all!” You excitedly clapped your hands in front of you as in a pleading gesture. Since Connor could sense how anxious and enthusiastic you were about this, he supposed that he could take a few minutes off from work, even if an android like himself did not require breaks.

“Alright,” he responded as he straightened his back on his chair and signaled for you to take a seat on the chair that was next to his desk. He saw as you let yourself fall into the chair and crossed your arms across your chest with a smile.

“How fast is the Earth rotating on its axis?” You were quick to ask, and Connor couldn’t help but tilt his head at your question. He did find it intriguing as to why you would ask something like that – not sure why you wanted to know something like that - but proceeded to answer it anyway.

“About 1,037 miles per hour.”

“How many pixels can the human eye see?” He had to search a little deeper inside his databases, resulting for the LED on the side of his temple to turn yellow for a second and return to its usual color blue.

“Approximately 576 megapixels, but it also depends on the angle that you’re looking at the screen.”

Connor saw as your face changed to one of surprise, perhaps you were amused at how he could answer them so quickly, he wasn’t sure since he still did not fully understand human behavior. Then, his eyebrows knitted together once he noticed how your lips curled into a mischievous smile.

“Ok, my dear Connor,” you began with a playful tone in your voice, “I'm sure you won't be able to answer this one."

He smirked at your “bold” statement and crossed his arms. “I'm the most advanced android. Since I haven’t had a problem answering your previous questions, this one should be no problem either." And he was right about that. There was no way he wouldn’t be able to answer any question that you decided to throw at him. If they kept being questions like your previous ones, Connor wouldn’t have a problem at all.

“We will see about that.” You let your back fall against the chair’s backrest and your smile kept getting bigger. “What is the cutest thing in the world?”

The cutest thing? In the world? Ok, now the android was stuck about this one. He knew that there are many things in the world that are considered ‘cute’, but it all depended on the person. Some considered flowers to be ‘cute’, while others did not. Connor was conflicted on how to answer exactly, he tried to search inside his databases, but nothing was definitive. His LED was spinning in an infinitive yellow loop with no answer in sight. Although, something inside his mind kept popping up multiple times as he searched for the right answer. In the end, he decided to let that one thought in his mind to be the answer.

“Dogs.”

“Why dogs?" He heard as you chuckled through your simple question. A delicate smile took over Connor’s lips as he contemplated as to why dogs were ‘the cutest thing in the world’.

“Because they are loyal and caring to those who treat them well,” he started as he leaned forward in his seat, resting his elbows on his knees, “In addition, they come in many shapes and sizes, which makes them all unique and they were all created with the intention of serving a specific function. For example, Lieutenant Anderson's dog named Sumo has a thick coat which-"

“Ok, you're right. Let's just leave it at that,” the smile on his face fell as he was cut off by your abrupt statement that was full of giggles and a lazy wave of your hand was directed at him. Connor hoped that this was the answer you were looking for since he wasn’t even sure himself, but all his doubts were erased when he saw a thumps up from you in approval. He nodded at you as a smile went back to grace his lips, satisfied that he was able to answer your trivial questions.
