i was too shocked to go anywhere for a few minutes. i just sat on the curb outside the apartment, thinking about what happened. thinking of all the ways this could go badly, but good at the same time.

when it started to get really cold, i decided that it was time to go inside.

i laid on my bed for a few minutes.

it was already morning so what was the point of going back to bed?

i decided to just play some music to clear my mind.

old fashioned played.

it's my favorite song from the new panic! album is of course i had to dance.

i blasted it and started dancing on my bed, forgetting all my worries.

once the song was over, my ass was done. i was too tired to do anything so i decided to take a nap before i got to work.

🍂💛🍂

after my nap was done, i started to get ready. i had thirty minutes to get ready and get to the restaurant.

once i got ready, i put my shoes on and started to walk down the steps.

ding

i pulled my phone out and the text was from tyler.

ty💕: i can pick you up if you want?

jen💘: sure! thanks.

i waited outside for tyler for three minutes until he finally pulled up into the driveway.

"sup bitch."
i say, getting into the car.

"hey, that's no way to talk to your boyfriend."
he started to drive to the restaurant.

"ok, so now we're dating?"
i say, smiling at him.

he blushed.
"um, only if you w-want to."
he said, not looking at me. he had a worried expression on his face.

"i'm just kidding!"
i say, laughing at him.

"oh."
was all he could say.

"would you want to be my girlfriend?"
he asked.

"of course tyler. i like you."
i say.

he finally smiled.

"ok. then it's settled. we are official."
he says with a grin.

"great."
i say back.

we drive into the parking lot and get out of the car.

"i wonder what your boss is going to say?"
he asked.

"yeah. me too. do you think we should tell her?"
i question.

"if you don't, i will."
he stated with a smile.

we went into the restaurant to see my boss where she always is.

"hey."
i say.

"hi."
she says, looking between tyler and i. wondering what i was about to say.

"so, i have some news."
i say with a smile.

"what's that?"
she says looking directly at tyler and smiling.

"tyler and i are now dating!"
i say, side hugging tyler.

"oh my god! come here!"
she runs over to me and we hug each other.

tyler's just watching it happen with a smirk on his face.

"well tyler, i swear if you hurt my girl, i will kill you."
she says after the hug.

"she's serious about that also, if you were wondering."
i say with a smirk on my face.

"oh, i know."
he says, looking at my boss.

🍂💛🍂

after i was down with work for the day, tyler and i decided to go on a date.

"so this is going to be our first 'official' date."
tyler says with a smirk.

"it sure is."
i say looking out the window.

we arrive at some fancy restaurant that i've never been to.

"wow. i sure ain't paying. it's your turn anyway so good luck."
i say, getting out of the car. tyler following.

we enter the restaurant and tyler walks up to where the worker is.

"we're here for the reservation i made."
he said to the worker.

"last name?"
she asks.

"joseph."
he smiles.

"right this way then."
she walks out to another room, filled with tables.

she stopped in front of a two seated table, by a big window.

"here is where you will be seated tonight."
she says.

we sat down at the table.

"what would you like to start off with tonight for a drink?"
she looks at tyler and tyler only.

"eh, i will take some of your wine please."
tyler says, looking back at the waiter.

"ok."
she still stares at tyler, acting like i'm not even there.

"i will take the same thing, thank you very much."
i say in an annoyed tone.

she looks at me, definitely not smiling.

then she leaves.

"wow. what a bitch."
i say, looking at the menu.

"i thought she was nice."
he's says, doing the same thing.

"yeah right."
i say back.

🍂💛🍂

after we left the restaurant and getting into tyler's car, he hands me a piece of paper with a phone number on it.

"that's from your little friend."
he says, after we get into the car.

"i knew she was 'flirting' with you!"
i state.
"you didn't believe me!"

"i still don't think she was flirting, she was just being nice!"
he said with a smile.

"wow. men really can't tell when someone's flirting."
i say, mostly to myself.
