Arriving back the house seems to create another interesting event in my day.

Jason and Tori are in the garden, head's bent close together, whispering like two naughty school children. Amazingly even from about ten metres away I hear my name. I wouldn't be surprised if they were conspiring to kill me.

Clumsy me steps on a twig that snaps with the sound of gun fire. Both heads shoot towards me. One set of eyes darken at the sight of Jamie's arm on my waist and the other set start rolling around like a bobble head statue. "What happened?" The sharp words come from the dark set of eyes. He's probably just annoyed that with Jamie around they can't put their plan to do me off, in action.

"Nothing." I scoff at the same time as Jamie tells him, "I found her passed out. I think she hit her head really hard yesterday. I'm just going to get her to bed then get Sam."

If Jason's eye's could darken even more they did at Jamie's words. "This sounds serious. You get Sam and I'll get her to bed. You know, for speed."

Jamie seems too quick to hand me over to the big bad wolf. His arm quickly being replaced by said big bad wolf's arm as he goes off in search of Sam.

Tired and not seeing a way to get out of this one in this moment, I let him lead me towards the house. Passing Tori I hear the words, "Just an attention seeker," flung at me.

Fire in my eyes and my chest, I gather the last reserves of strength to speed myself up away from her and thankfully Jason and his arm that felt like it was scorching my body through my camisole.

Storming my way up the through the house and up the stairs seems to be a mistake. Reaching the hallway to my room, the whole world seems to start slowing down and burning hands steady my stumbling body.

The hands pull me towards a body that has Jason's head on it. His eyes catch mine like a fish on a very sharp hook and I let out a shaky sigh as I feel his hands travel up my body igniting lines of fire. All the while a little voice is trying to remind me what happened yesterday, especially when his hands reach my neck. But that all flies out of my mind as I see the regret threaten to spill over in his eyes.

I don't know what is happening to me but at this point I could seriously give this dark man my body, my soul, my everything. As these thoughts fling through my head and I'm preparing to put my hands on this fine specimen and let him have me, one of his bear like hands finds its way onto my scarred shoulder. Feeling the scarring his eyes soon fall to my disgusting deformity.

Before I can see the disgust that will surely be in his eyes, I yank myself away without looking back. Moving quickly to and into my room, I make sure the door is securely shut before I rush to pull a baggy hoody on to hide that thing on my shoulder.

Feeling myself tire pretty quickly, I let myself plop down into bed, empty my mind of everything and wait for Sam to show.

Waking up on Monday morning after a dead sleep is almost a relief after the events of Sunday. After Jamie found Sam she headed straight for me like a hurricane of care and concern. I barely managed to stop her from getting Mr. Murdoch back here with much reassurance that I just needed some sleep, which was not a lie.

At least with going back to school today I might have some blessed hours away from certain people.

Despite having the same morning routine for school as I had all last week, I find myself running late with just enough time to pull straighteners through my hair, dash some mascara on, struggle into a light blue pair of jeans with knee holes and a cosy knitted cream jumper. Struggling to pull a pair of Vans on, I meet Caitlin at the front door who thrusts an apple into my hands then we hightail out of there like the Roadrunner.

The rush of the morning and me trying to inhale my apple without needing the Heimlick Manoeuvre leaves no time for conversation which thankfully means I can get by without any Spanish Inquisition about what is wrong with me. I mean I'm thinking it about myself so why wouldn't everyone else be as well.

With a quick wave goodbye and a meeting with the bin to feed it my apple core I make my way to Ma - hell - ths.

Finding Mr. Marc already seated at his desk, I make mouse like footsteps to where Alex is. We sigh out hello as I sit next to him. Straight away Mr. Marc launches into some rubbish about numbers and trains and Alex has his attention captured by anything but the lesson.

Trying to keep up with the lesson I find it slip by, which is how the rest of my day goes, with only slim chances to give a hello or a goodbye to my Care Home comrades. Even at lunch the clocks seem to be working at double speed, with everybody absent working on projects and me too busy to really notice or care as I'm caught up in my own thoughts of trying to get to the bottom of what happened this past weekend.

All too soon I find myself at the lesson that I have been dreading the most - History. I sit myself down at my desk and wait for the person who I can't help but hope doesn't turn up.

Watching the second hand tick away, I wait for Him to show up. Thankfully He shows at the same time as Mr. Feudal which means that we can't make any conversation.

Trying to ignore Him sat next to me and the waves of heat I can feel coming off him along with the stench of forest, I solely focus on the words Mr. Feudal has to say.

"Well today since our projects are due Friday I am giving you free time to work on them." He then grins at us like he has given us the greatest gift and tells us to get on with it.

Sighing I turn to Jason doing my best to act civil around him. "Since we only have a little bit left to do I'll do it as it wouldn't make sense for both of us to waste our time on it."

Those burning eyes are quickly turned onto me, making me freeze in my seat. "I wouldn't bother since I've already wasted my time and finished it for us. What with you being sick and all. Plus I figured that since all we had to do was connect wolves with Moonlight Falls, I would be the best man for the job, considering I've lived here longer than you.''

"Oh, okay.'' I turn away from him glad to have an excuse to not have to do anything with him to to try to ignore that fact that all I can feel is the heat of his body next to mine.

A piece of paper skates it way across the desk to me. Looking down I see black words decorating it. "Here is is. Read it now or later, I don't care but it might be good to know what you're talking about if Mr. Feudal asks about it." His voice sends shivers down my spine and not knowing how to deal with these feelings, I pick of the paper and start reading.
