This entire chapter is going to be in Luke's P.O.V
(I have to admit I'm pissed off at my dad. Just because Annabeth broke his heart doesn't mean that he had to have a spell placed on me to see if she truly loved me. He should've gave her a chance to show that she loved me by allowing us to date or to have Aphrodite check to see who she really loves. Never mind scratch the Aphrodite part because she might mess up Annabeth's feelings for me and have her falsely fall in love with someone else.)- Luke's Thoughts
As I'm lost within my thoughts my father flashes us to Hecate for her to remove the spell.
"Hecate may you please remove the spell I asked you to place on my son" My father asked.
"I'm sorry but in order for the spell to be removed the person who is his soul mate has to kiss him in order for the spell to be broken" Hecate replied.
"How would we know when it is broken" My father asked.
"As soon as their lips meet a golden light will cascade down upon them and then chains will appear on Luke's hand just to break from the force of love in the area" She replied. (I literally am just winging it right now)
Before my father can even reply Annabeth crashed her lips against mines and a golden light cascaded down upon us as Hecate said. In the midst of the kiss I noticed the chains appear on my hands but I paid it no mind because I was kissing the love of my life. The chains that were around my hands never broke though. As I was kissing Annabeth I started to realize that Hecate's appearance changed into a male and then I blacked out.
