Chapter 15: help

"What? Oh my, I'm so sorry!" I stood up, and grabbed my bag.

"It's ok, honey! I can tell you're having a rough time," she gave me a sympathetic smile.

"Yeah," i nodded. "By the way, thank you so much for waking me up."

"That's my job, ma'am."

Arriving at the hospital, I went in. I also made sure that there's no sight of Steve.

I sighed in relief when only a lady and her baby were there.

"Lia?" I gasped, turning around slowly hoping that it's not Steve.

I let go of the breath that was scared to escape my mouth.

"Are you ok?" Alex walked closer to me.

"Am I ok?! I was in Spain running away from problems, then I get a call that Jason is in a coma?! Am I ok? IM SURE THAT STEVE WAS THE ONE WHO FUCKING STAB HIM! AM I OK THAY STEVE IS BACK?!" I started hysterically crying.

"Hey, hey..." Alex hugged me, he was trying to comfort me. "At least he's alive."

"Alive but not awake!" I spat. "Where is he?"

"Follow me."

The last thing I heard was Alex saying to me, I am sorry Lia, he forced me. After that, I only felt emptiness, and saw darkness.

Jake's p.o.v

Sitting in the waiting room, made me anxious. I have no idea if Lia is coming or not, I did what I've been told to, and told her over the phone. What if she fainted? What if no one was there with her? Man, I should've let her come, then tell her the horrible news. But does she still care?

"Good evening, sir, may I ask where is Jason's family?" The nurse asked me politely.

"They're out, needed some air," I replied.

"Well, we're currently allowing visitors, but one person at a time," she smiled slightly.

"Can I see him?" I looked up at her.

"If his parents are ok with it, I don't mind," she shrugged.

"They won't. When they come, I'll leave."

"Well, follow me!"

As I took a seat next to him, I remembered what Jack told me.

"Please make sure that Steve is nowhere to be seen."

"Jason, I'm not quite sure you hear me, but it's worth a try, ya know? Since you're my best friend, but even though you pushed me away," my voice cracked. "I would have gotten to you, before he did! Now I'm feeling so small, because I couldn't protect my best friend...

I owe you, Jase. All my brothers owed you, and still do. We let you go even when you were the one who saved our little sister. Please, say something."

"J-Jake, m-my p-phone," I heard Jason say. My eyes widened, and I looked for his phone everywhere. I went outside, and I found his parents.

"Is Jason's phone with you?!"

"Y-yeah, can we see him now?!" His mom gasped.

"Please, just give me a minute there! Jason is awake, and he's telling me something." I ran back to his room, locked the door. "I'm back, Jase! I have your phone."

"D-did Lia receive the text message I sent her?" He said slowly.

"Let me check."

I honestly don't know how the fuck he's talking right now?

To Lia 💍:
Don't come, Steve is here.

That was sent right before Steve stabbed Jason. Wait.

He motioned for me to give him his phone, so I did.

As he typed something, I waited impatiently.

He gave me, and I was so nervous to read it.

Steve stabbed me to let Lia come here. So he could kidnap her all over again. Please look for her now, call her! Do anything! Please!

My sister is in danger.

My baby sister.

My little sister.

My only sister.

And it's because of Steve.

We need help.
