YOONGI POV

After dealing with these hectic past 5 months, we finally caught the one stealing our rations. Tae owes me money; I bet they were either from Mayday or Drug Hotel, while boss man said if I was right I could be in charge for a day. 2o dollars is much better than sitting in a fancy chair for 12 hours, if you ask me.  We rule Bangtan together, but his head inflated a little when I said for convenience reasons I should stick to vice-drug-lord. Instead, I lead the elite team when sent out, like right now.

Taehyung really only complied because I know Daegu like the back of my hand, just as it knows me. I maneuver us out of trouble every time we have somewhere to go or something to get rid of.  That's how I got us here: the back of the old lumber market. I usually leave the killing to Hobi or Jin.  Hoseok, who ignores orders of no chit-chat, leans with the others and me against the back wall near a window. He slumps against my shoulder, making some wise crack pun about stiff wood. I roll my eyes and pull his hair, getting annoyed.

Hoseok's got the best athletic build out of the 4 of us, so he usually acts as our short rider- an assassin for quick executions while on the move. One time all of us were sneaking through halls of a higher end establishment, and a guard came in front of us. We all stopped running, but Hoseok ran straight into him, and snapped his neck. It was probably the most intense kill from him we've ever seen, if not in general. When asked about it later he only responded by saying he didn't have enough time to get anything out, but I don't think anyone believed him.

"He's here! Under the light, his eyes should be adjusting now, follow me." Jin gives this order as he shuffles behind a long, tall stack of lumber not too far from DR. I follow, first in line behind him while the two others lined up next to us, so we sat in a square behind the wood, stilling our movements as much as possible.

Jin can only be known as the most cunning among us, and sometimes as a decoy. Upon being spotted by any enemies, they usually hesitate by his visuals, half the time mistaking him as a civilian, or even a hostage if they know we're in. His brain almost seems to work faster when on a mission, like he gets some kind of high from it. Other than Hoseok, he can take out the trash pretty neatly.

"Min, his dog's arrived" Namjoon whispers with a strange laugh in his tone of voice.

"Time to call the big man" He smiles, ready to get some action out of his sacrificed night.

Namjoon doesn't partake in executions. However, he saves our ass every time we get caught somewhere or cornered. Unless direct confrontations been initiated, we usually try to keep kills to a bare minimum, for many reasons.

I open the work contact for Taehyung, and start a facetime call. I have a single airpod in, so he doesn't worry about noise.
"Do you have both of them?"

"Take a look for yourself" I whisper back, turning the camera. All that's left is waiting til last minute to see what they do. In the end, after seeing the dog's relationship with DR, we decide if Jin will have to take both of them.

The two of them stand at parallel ends of the light, a strange look on Dog's face, which makes me wonder where this could be going.

They start fighting. "Maybe we-" "Shut up, Hoeseok" Jin hissed. But the silence between the four is broken again by Namjoon.

"Jin, he-he he has a.. a-!"

The oldest turns Namjoon's head to look at his, a small distance between them, his hand still holding the younger's chin.

"A what, Joonie?!"

"Hearing aid!" Hoseok cries.

"Gun!" I cry.

We all look at each other wide eyed, then back at Dog, who aims a pistol straight at the center of DR.

Everyone watches silently.

Taehyung squints on the screen. "You're right. He has a hearing aid. But if he really kills him.. I want you to take him to me."

Jin whispers by the bottom of the phone.

"So don't kill him?"

"No," he starts, but is interrupted. By a gun shot.

"Hohlee shit, you guys." I whisper back. This kid, who looks younger than all of us, just killed the thief who ruined our night.

"I want him." Taehyung finishes.

"As what? A new trader? Delivery boy?" Namjoon asks. Hoseok turns his head back to him.

"Idiot! He'll hear you! It's quiet now!" He shoves him, a little harsher than intended.

"He's dea- oof!" He had grabbed Hoseok by the sleeve, taking him down with him. Hoseok then turned around to me and Jin who were crouching, trying to support the two again by grabbing me too.

The dumbass. Now we're all gonna get caught. I don't try to fight the flow and try to keep Jin hidden, but with my horrible luck he trips over my foot.

"Jung, I'm gonna kill you!" Jin sneered, the younger scared for his life.

I turn to the boy, who looks at us on the floor, the off look on his face still there.

"He's looking.." I start to the guys, but have no reason to finish.

We all freeze still for a good 1o seconds, including the dog.

"He.. can't hear us from here." I start up again. "By Taehyung's own orders, we have to take him back. Not to the cypher room though, to him. He didn't get to say why, but we're not gonna mess up his plans. We're gonna go talk to him, and bring him home. Okay, boys?"

Hoseok, nods his head by an inch in compliance, already standing up to coax the boy. I meant I'll take him back, but I'll wait to see how he starts. Meanwhile, Namjoon leans hover and whispers in my ear.
"I have a plan. He has to come with us." He begins. I smile.

"Hey" Dumbass starts. Just kidding. We have a better way going at this. I push him out of my way, and I stand in front of the taller.

"You're in quite the situation, aren't you?"

He starts to mumble out pleas of not turning him in, which makes this too easy.

"We can help." The others start to back me up.

"But," Joon starts, and I'm not shocked when the oldest finishes his sentence.

"You have to come with us."

And unknown to myself, and the others around me, Taehyung listens in through the phone now in my back pocket, Smirking a little too big.
