I finished my story and there were times where Kon cut me off when I was talking about Kil. Guess he doesn't like Kil...aww too bad...

I looked at the sky and noticed it was night. I sighed and splashed water on the fire. "Kon, I better go to my house. I told Auntie that I'll be there by afternoon but it's night. She'll get worried."

He made a sad face and I petted his head. "Don't worry. I'll visit you again! I promise." I said and stopped petting him, walked away, and waved him goodbye. I activated 'Kurai Bijon' and walked slowly out of the forest.

'It can get really dark in the forest but when you're out of there, it seems as if you got out of a dark tunnel.'

Once I was on the path to the house, I dis-activated my ability and walked up the hill. I arrived home and opened the door.

"I'm home." I yelled and I saw grandma and I walked up to her. "Granny, where's everyone else?"

"Mito left to give food to the boys." She replied and I looked out the window,

"I see..."

The two boys came back and I asked Gon to help me to put back the dry plates in the big drawer.

"Say..." Mito trailed off.

"What?" We both asked not looking at Mito.

"How long will you two be staying?"

This surprised us and I looked at her with a sad expression. "Maybe a month?"

"After that...I'm looking for my dad." Gon said and I stopped and stormed off to his room. I almost slammed the door until I saw Kil sleeping in Gon's bed.

'He really is a bad sleeper...' I sighed. "Boys...I swear I don't get them. At all." I slightly smiled at the silver-haired boy, walked up to him, bent down, lifted up his bangs, quickly placed a kiss on his forehead and ran out the room with a blush on my cheeks.

'I can't believe i did that!!! Wahh!!!'

I ran downstairs and I saw Mito and Gon talking. I also noticed the grayish-black box.

"Oh, right." Mito saw me and then went to the kitchen. When she came back she gave me a [favorite color] box, just like Gon's, and I took it from her hands.

'Another...box from Ging?'

"What's this?" Gon asked as he examined his box.

"Something Ging left with me. He asked me to give these to you when you both become a Hunter. I'll tell you everything I know about Ging." Mito said seriously and I looked at Auntie,

"I think I'll have to pass the story and go to sleep." I said and walked upstairs and entered my room. I sat down on my bed and examined the [fav color] box. I gritted my teeth and threw the box at the wall, with force, that made a hole on the wall. I laid down on the bed, facing the ceiling.

"Sometimes I ask myself: 'Why do I hate Ging?' Honestly, I don't know...I just do...Is it wrong to hate on your father?" I asked myself and faced the wall.

'I honestly don't know...' I close my eyes and drifted to sleep.

I was wide awake and went downstairs to help Mito with something but she said she didn't need help so I went up to my brother's room and knocked.

"Come in!" I opened the door, entered his room and closed the door behind me. I saw Gon and Kil sitting on the floor and looking at the box, the one that Mito gave Gon yesterday. Kil looked at me, gave me a small sweet smile as if he was glad and looked back at the sliver box.

'What...was that for...?'

"How do you open it?" Kil asked as he looked closer at the box. I sat in between the two boys, stayed quiet and watched at what they would do.

"Yeah, I tried a bunch of methods, but it wouldn't open." Gon said.

"Mind if I use force?"

"Go ahead."

"Okay..." Kil used //all// his assassin strength but he wasn't able to open it. I wanted to giggled so badly but I held it in.

"It's no use. This is no ordinary box. I should be able to twist open an ordinary steel box. And since we don't know what's inside, we can't break the box." Kil shaked the box. "It's not making a sound. Your dad said to give this to you once you became a Hunter, right?"

"Yeah, that's what I heard." Gon said.

"Once you became a Hunter...I get it...I figure it out! Gon, there's one thing we haven't tried yet! Something you have as a Hunter that you didn't have before."

"Ok, I know! My Hunter Licen-" I snatched Gon's Hunter License and softly slapped him with it.

"No, that's not it. Gon, you're supposed to use Nen to open it." I said as I gave his license back and played with my necklace.

"O-oh." Gon took the box from Kil and released his Nen, Ren. Once he did that, a blue light illuminated the room and the steel plates fell to the floor. The blue light faded and there was a different looking box. Kil picked up a steel plate and examined it. He seemed surprised and tossed the steel plate to Gon.

"Doesn't that design look familiar to you?"

"This is like the pattern on the promise thread Wing-san gave me." Gon responded.

"Isn't that design to snap if Nen used? I bet this pattern holds a power similar to Nen." Kil said and I...

"It does. The steel plates were all together because Ging used his Nen to make them connect together." I said and they looked at me surprised.

"Huh?"

"H...how do you know this?" Kil asked me.

"When I was young, about 9 years old, Mito gave me a box just like Gon's. She told me that Ging told her to give me that box if I go out of control with my powers....By that time, I already knew how to use Nen. And when I used Nen to open that box, those designs were also there. And inside the other box was this necklace. It has the same design as Wing-san's promise thread and on the steel plates. But...it bothers me for some reason. I found out that it was suppose to detach or snap if Nen was used but I'm always using Nen with my necklace...and I can't seem to take it off..."

"That is kind of weird..." Gon said.

"Yeah..."

"Yeah, so anyways Gon, use your Hunter License to open that box." I said pointing at the purple box. He nodded and inserted his Hunter License in.

"It worked." Kil and Gon said and looked inside the box. "A ring and a cassette tape...and a memory card?"

Kil picked up the ring, "Look. That pattern is on the back of this ring."

"Just like my necklace..." I trailed off.

Kil nodded and Gon stood up, went to his closet and grabbed his cassette player.

"Oh, can you copy it?" Kil asked Gon.

"Sure, why?" Gon asked Kil as he looked over his shoulder.

"Just to be safe." Kil answered.
