Lost and Found

Put it down, now pick it up,
But time and space have opened up.
What once was here, now is gone;
Just like the yesterdays all bygone.
Weep as you might, panic in fear,
But all that does, is interfere.
Steel your mind, then find a way,
To meet your fate, at least halfway.
Cloaked in courage, take those steps,
Retrace your moves, even the missteps.
Never give up, you'll find your prize!
The joy received will be no surprise!
