第 2 章 - Proposal

Wu Ming pov

I don't know how far I have travel around. I don't even bother to counted the steps that I took. Each day its was hell for me and each night I'm having my punishment. As I travel from a city to another, I still didn't find the thing I need the most. I'm still missing a heart.

"This worth 5 piece of silver miss."

I didn't bother to counted the silver and hand it over to her. Her face light in the cheerful smiled the moment she took the silver. I grabbed the pendant and left.

This city is like the previous city I visit before. Their main product is jade or lady accrsorie. As I roamed around the city, I have this uneasy feeling in me.

So I purposely walking back and front just trying to ditch the eyes running on my body. Who are they? Why are they spying on me?

"Talk or die?" I get the opportunities to pinned the spy on the wall as my sharp knife aim at his heart.

"Who sent you?"

No relied.

"Who is your master?"

Still no answer.

"Then die.."

Its a sad thing that this spy is too young to die but I don't care. I raised the knife and ready to stabbed right on his heart. But he dodge my attack by flip me over the wall. We had a little fight but there is no way he can win against me.

I am a devil.

Each stab that land oh his body, I felt stronger. The blood that marked on his robe made me happy. The sound of his suffering raised up my sprit. I want his life.

"Please.. give me mercy.." Finally he begged for his life.

He already trembling on the ground with blood dripping from him wound. I squated down and looked at him with my grim eyes. He keep begging for him life.

"Name?"

"I'm just a little servant following my master order. Please.. give me mercy." He beg again.

"Name?"

"La Bei is my name."

"Not your name. Your master name."

"This servant wouldn't dare to tell."

His face wringkle a lot as he mention his master tittle. I put back my knife after sighing a big one. The murderous vibe in me slowly fade away after I calm myself down.

"What your task?" I change my question.

"I was order to observer you miss."

"Observed?"

"Just observed and report back to my master." He answered it truthly.

I let him go but this is not the end. I pretend to leave him alone but actually, I'm following him. After days of spying and pretending, finally I get the chance to meet the master mind.

"So this is the master of that little spy." I started the play.

He already still because of the knife that aim on his back. He was glued to the ground, didn't dare to turn around.

"Mind to tell me why are you spying on me young master?"

After a few moment, he finally slowly turned to face me directly. I was hell shocked when I saw his face. This is the man that I save few days ago.

"Hi there.." He spoke.

What the fuck !! After all the effort on following the bait, slipping in this huge spring house and ditching all the guard, the first sentence I get from this guy is "hi there"

"I wanted to see you." He continue.

Holly shit !! What now.

"My apology for the mess but it is not my intention to provoke you miss. I just ---"

"I almost kill you servant. Did you know that?" I cut his line.

"No. He didn't tell me." He obviously can't hide his shocked voice.

"I beat him half death."

His face wringkle to another level after my honest conffesion. This is funny. A master actually care for him servant. Intresting.

"Thank you for not killing him. I apreciate young miss kindness."

His eyes shined in a way I never expected it to be. After wander around this era for few years, I get to see plently kind of human. Most of them are trash. But this guy transmit a different kind of vibe. Blue ray are comming out from him body.

"And I apreacited if you kindly remove the knife. Its poking me." Again he was talking politely its bothering me.

My eyes trailed down the knife on my gribbed. When I looked at him again, he was smling. Doesn't he afraid a bit. Before I remove the knife, I purposely poke him a bit to leave a mark. He groaned instantly when blood slowly flow from the puncture.

"What ---" As expected, he start rebelling.

I grinned in pleased but his face scoffed pretty bad. His right hand pressed on the mark while his left hand rest on his waist.

"Its just a poke." I just gave him an indifferent answer.

"A poke wouldn't bleed."

"Its a bleeding poke." I keep my straight face.

"You ---"

"You a man. Don't whine." I shouted a little and his eyes wided a bit more.

I ignore his whine as I sat on the hunt support. He still got his hand pressed around his bleeding mark. It wasn't that bad. He obviously a pampered young master.

"Why did you spy me?" After few moment, I end the chill.

"I wanted to see you again."

"Now that you see me, what do you want?"

"Marry me."

Is this guy missing a heart or he required a heart? He was staring right in my eyes and the blue ray change to red flame colour. This mean he is serious.

"You must be out of your mind !!" I yelled.

"Marry me. I will ..."

"Get lost !" I jump down from my seat to leave the scene.

Before I coule get away further, he grabbed on my arm to stop me. I flip and land a punched on his chest. He stumble down the ground like a kid being bully. Wait.. this guy weak on martial act.

"I need to marry ..."

"I don't want to marry you. Not only you're weak. You're stupid too." I rejected him right on his face.

"Its a rule to marry you first kiss." He argued.

"When the hell did I kiss you?"

"That day. You ..."

"Its not a kiss, you stupid ..!!" I never felt so humiliated like this one.

I was saving him that day,  not kissing him. As our eyes lock to each other, the red flame around his body change to yellow brown one. I hurt his feeling. The sad face of him made me pity him but marriage is out of question.

"I'll never marry you. Not just you, but I'll never marry anyone." With that, I walked away in my confident manner.

I could felt the light around him slowly swapped to dark colour. I hate that I could see other true feeling just from their vibe. This is me, and this is my curse. The curse to see other true thought and desire. I wish I never have this curse.
