Beta Slade stood silently, obviously at a cross on what to do. It was clear he did not want her to tag along but his loyalty to his pack, therefore his Luna, was contradicting that.

"Just take her!" Elena's distant voice called from inside the house and Bella couldn't help but feel smug as she smiled at Slade and crossed her arms in a victory stance. "It's a secure building and if we want her to be Luna we have to start treating her like one!"

Bella watched as Beta Slade's shoulder visibly deflated and his eyes dulled with forced acceptance. "Hmp!" Bella pleasantly sounded and turned to her side to allow the giant man to lead the way.

As she watched Beta Slade start to walk in front of her with his head held high as if he was marching to his own death and trying to stay noble and brave, she considered that maybe gloating over him because his mate made him listen to her wasn't very Luna-like. She paused for a half a second to think about it before shrugging her shoulders and following after her. What's done is done.

Of course this was the detainment center. It's boxy appearance, muted colors, and three column arcs in front of it screamed order and conformity. Its two-story height was not forboding itself, but Bella could almost hear the history of screams whispering in the breeze around them.

It was located towards the front of the pack and Bella could see why, even if it wasn't the best first impression for visitors. Having it too close to the forest that surrounded their gated community was too open to attacks and breakouts and having it in the middle of the pack would be a constant reminder of danger and gloom.

Its design was pretty similar to her old pack's detainment center, although the Moonvalley pack had gone with more natural colors that fit in with the rest of the buildings in the pack. But Bella had never once entered her old pack's facility. She could only imagine it was similar to that of the human prison she had visited for a class in college. A stiff waiting room followed by rooms of checkpoints and metal detectors with places to leave anything on you that could be perceived as a threat or turning into a weapon, and yes that included Bella's hair tie which she had to take out and leave in a locker.

She carefully walked behind Beta Slade as they approached the doors. Bella was surprised when two stationed guards inside the entryway held the door open for them. Bella made sure to keep up with Slade as he walked through, but she couldn't help but glance sideways at the two male wolves whose heads remained bowed to her.

Once inside, Bella was a little surprised to see that it wasn't so much a waiting room as it was polished information office. The built-in glass reception window in the back right of the small room. There were no seats or visitors to be seen, only guards posted at each of the three archway leading to a large hall in the back and sides of the room. The walls were stone and adorn with framed maps and information panels, but none of the archways were labeled. Apparently, you just had to know where you were going since those maps didn't appear to be too detailed.

"Maccon." A tight feminine voice rang out and pulled Bella's squinting eyes from trying to analyze the pictures. She turned her head to find a petite young woman approaching Slade. Her black hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail and her tan uniform shirt was tucked neatly into her black pants. Her face was soft except for her square jaw and cleft chin, but her whole presence seemed tough and serious. As if she was a female version on Slade.

"Kentwood." Slade addressed her with a small nod. The she-wolf mimicked his gesture before her calculating eyes landed on Bella. It didn't take long for her to seemingly disapprove of her. Bella self consciously looked down at her slightly disheveled appearance of bright blue shorts and clean white t-shirt. It probably didn't help that Elena's shoes were far too big on Bella, something that only increased her discomfort on her morning run. They probably resembled clown shoes on her.
