Chp 19

Manik was sitting on sofa watching his show while eating the breakfast fully lost in it.....nandini came after few minutes to find him engrossed in it and manik started talking to her also...nandini after sometime said

N: uffff kitna bolte ho tm manik......thakk (tired) nhi jaate....abhi bhi tm bol rhe.....tv pe bhi tmhe hi sun rhe....... Kese kar lete ho itna  (she said while stuffing her mouth with paratha)

Ma: bs mein to hn hi great (proudly) jab mein nhi bolo ga to u will miss it......my non-stop chatting

N: no mein shukar karo ge ke tmhare fazool baate nhi sunne pare ge(she joked.......they had developed such a bond where they were frank enough to joke with eachother)

Ma: ro ge tm (u will cry).....dekh lena (he challenged while getting up.....) mere jesa sweet sa husband tmhe khan milna hai.....kadar karo mere (he said throwing tissue at her after cleaning his hands and tip of nose with it while nandini shouted ewwwwww manik....and manik laughed at her while picking his coat......

N: i have to go to fashion house......then I will meet navya also.....may be i will get late

Ma: go wherever u want to....just dont forget to take guard with u

N: manik guards (she whinned)

Ma: otherwise u cant go (he said in strict tone b4 saying gud bye and left from there)

N: bossy...arrogant...monster (she shouted with cute angry voice while he laughed hearing the titles)

Nandini at around 10 got ready to leave for fashion house......shw msgd him and left from the house....in the car she got manik's msg again reminding her of taking guard...she smiled at his concern....nandini worked for an hour or two in fashion house then navya came opening the door with a large sound and threw her bag on nandini's table making her startle......

N: navyaaa(she shouted) is this the way to enter into someone's office

Na: itna ghussa kyon kar rhi ho(she said rolling her eyes) manik se larai to nhi hui (she laughed with mischevious glint in her eyes  while nandini shaked her head in disbelief)

Then they both went for a tour of whole office....checking the progress and other things........their car stopped in front of mall and both came out from the car followed by the guard......navya huffed in frustration seeing the guard

Na: ab ye har jagah hme follow kare ga

N: manik ne kha thaa......(she said making puppy face as she too was uncomfortable with guard following her everywhere)

Na: mall ke andar kia hojana hai yaar......har bnda ajeeb trah se dekhta hai....m not comfortable

N: me too (☹☹☹) lekin manik ko pta chala to wo ghussa hoga

Na: lekin use btaye ga kon (winking at her)

N: ye bhi hai (they high-fived and then nandini asked guard to wait for them in the car)

While the person sitting on the bike smirked  listening to nandini.......

Scene change

At around 3pm he got up to leave from there after receiving a call from his detective.......he was msging nandini from time to time asking her about her whereabouts and he was in peace after knowing that she was okay.........he sat in his car and left for the place where he had to meet his detective.........

Manik went to that roadside cafe and tapped his finger on shoulder of a man who was wearing cap hiding his face with it.........that person looked at him and got up to hug him........they both sat down and ordered some snacks for themselves and then they both started discussing about the progress of that project and the proofs........the guy handed him the usb saying

Guy: manik bhai ye usb....is mein 1 naya evidence hai aman singhania ke against.....aap kush hojaye ge

Ma: good work mohit.......(patting his shoulder affectionately)

The guy left from there after giving usb to manik.....he crossed the road and turned to other road ......as soon as he turned to a secluded road someone attacked him from back and then shot a bullet straight on his neck.....the guy died at the spot while the murderer ran from there........on the other manik started eating the french fries in contentment looking here and there not knowing that the young man lost his life.......he sat on car to go to his apartment but his phone beeped with a msg......he opened WhatsApp and saw few pictures of nandini in a mall abd it was from some unknown no......wondering who he was he kept looking at the pictures with a frown..he msgd nandini but no response...meanwhile his phone ringed and he picked the call

Caller: kese ho journalist sahab

Ma: ye iski pictures.......(controlling his anger)

Caller: wese manna pare ga bare khoobsurat bv hai tmhare (he passed a cheap cmnt in his dirty voice)

Ma: shutup (his veins of forehead bulged out in anger)

Ma: kia chaiye tmhe

Caller: chaiye to bht kuch (smirking evilly)

Ma: nandini ke paas bhi mat jana (he warned him but heard his laugh from other side)

Caller: kha tha tmhe ke ruk jao........ab dekhte jao kia karte han hm (he spoke in dangerous tone b4 cutting the call)

Manik banged his hand with the steering wheel cursing........he called nandini several times but of no use........he then called guards

Guard: hello sir

Ma: nandini khan hai (impatiently)

Guard: sir wo..... wo (he stuttered fearing)

Ma: wo wo kia lgai hue hai....speak up dammit (he shouted banging his fist on dashboard)

Guard: sir nandini mam mall mein han

Ma: tm khan ho (he questioned alittle calm)

Guard: nandini mam ne hme car mein wait karne ko kha

Ma: nandini mall mein akele hai (roared in tension).....fuck (he lost his temper)....dhoondho use and inform me

Guard: ok sir

Ma: agar use kuch hua na to mein tmhe choro ga nhi  (he was getting mad thinking about the possibilities)

While on the other hand nandini was shopping unaware of everything....unaware of the person following her and taking her pictures......and manik was getting mad after getting her pictures from the different areas of mall......he tried to call aman but he cut his calls everytime smirking enjoying the situation

So what will happen now.....will manik be able to save nandini or their luv story will end b4 even starting
