He'd been pretty happy about the fact that he hadn't been sitting with that group of rowdy women. "Yes way," she told him with a chuckle and nod of her head.

"You better get used to it Glen. They are a bit part of my life here. They are my family here in London. Kate is Arthur's godmother and we look out for each other. Harry and Will are the big brothers that I never had." She told him as she made sure that he understood the value of these people in her life.

To her they weren't Royals, they were her second family, she was almost close to them than her actual family. She needed to make it clear that he had no say in who she was friends with. It seemed pretty normal when he'd watched them interact in the few moments he'd had the chance to.

That Saturday afternoon they'd spend the day at the zoo. One of Arthur's favourite places besides the museum, home, Kensington Palace and Anmer Hall. It had been a brilliant day for the three of them. It had been the first moment that they had really been able to be a family. Arthur had been attached to Glen's hip and hadn't lost him out of his sight. Even when Glen had gone to use the bathroom, Arthur had slipped out of Kate's arms and right after his dad. She hoped that it would be solved soon enough cause if he really was that afraid of losing sight of his dad. Then it would be a problem when Glen left on tour.

For Kate, it had certainly been an experience as well. She'd imagined and dreamt about being able to do this for years. She didn't realise how much she had actually wanted this till she had it right there. Her and Glen walking side by side, sometimes holding hands. Sometimes Arthur between them, holding onto each of their hands. If he wasn't then he held on to Glen's hand alone.

She only hoped that he'd be good on his word. She wouldn't be able to survive the heartbreak of losing Glen a second time. It would break her son as well, he'd been so attached to Glen all day. She couldn't imagine him recovering if Glen walked out on them. They'd ended the day with dinner at McDonald's.

After having put an exhausted Arthur to bed, both Glen and Kate sat on the couch. Both of them were more than a little tired from their day trip as well. It had been great and worth it to see Arthur so alive, happy and over the moon.

"Why don't you come to Ireland?" Glen suggested, resting his cheek against his fist as his elbow rested on the back of the couch. "I'd love for Arthur to meet my family, I'm going to tell them tonight. I'm sure they'd be delighted and over the moon to find out that I found you and have a son as well," he explained as his other hand reached out to take hers, resting between the two of them. He'd love nothing more than his family to get the know the woman he'd talked about for so long. For them to get to know his son and for them to take another step to recovery and getting a step closer to being a family.

"I have to work Glen, Arthur has school." She told him with a tilt of her head as she gave a little shake. She could see the hope and desire in his eyes. He really wanted her to get to meet his family, but she couldn't just drop everything at the drop of a hat.

"Of course." He noted in understanding, but couldn't help but feel a little sad and hurt as well. "Arthur has a school holiday next month. Maybe we could do it then," she suggested as her mind ran through possibilities of when they could make this work.

her train of thoughts, however, was interrupted by her phone ringing once again. "sorry." she told Glen as she picked the phone up, noticing it was her sister's boyfriend.

"Hey, Jonas," Kate answered the phone as she watched Glen give her a questioning look. "Hey Kate, Liz just gave birth." He told her and she could hear the excitement in his voice and she couldn't help but let out a happy laugh herself. "Congrats Jonas, what is it? How's Liz?" she started firing off questions in his direction. Knowing how tiring birth and labour could be.

"Liz is doing, fine. Exhausted but happy. It's a little boy called Louis. It went really quick this afternoon." Jonas informed her with a chuckle and she could hear the emotions he was under. Birth in itself was such an emotional experience. She remembered how she felt after giving birth.

"It's alright, babies have their own agenda. Can you send me a couple of pictures, I won't be able to make it till two weeks from now," she told him as they talked about a bit more about her younger sister and her new nephew.

"A baby?" Glen asked her when she dropped the phone on the couch between them. He'd watched her glow when whoever was on the phone had told her something. By the rest of the conversation, he was able to get that a baby had been born.

"Yes it appears I became an aunt again," she told him with a glowing grin on her face. He could see the happiness shining in her face. Even if Louis was her first nephew by blood. But she had a couple of nieces and nephew running around from her friends here.

still, it was amazing to be an aunt to her actual sister's child. "That's amazing Kate, What's the baby called? "He wondered, tilting his head to the side. "Louis, a 3,7 kg little boy," she told him with a smile on her face.

"Well be sure to give them my congratulations." He told her as she nodded her head with a soft smile. "I should probably head home, my mum is expecting a call. She told me I haven't been myself," he told her as she let out a small chuckle at what could have been the reason for them. Namely her and Arthur that was the cause of the change in Glen.

Nodding her head in understanding she rose from the couch. "You coming over tomorrow?" she asked him when he nodded his head in eagerness. "I wouldn't miss some quality time with my two favourite people in the world," he told her and she couldn't help but grin at that.

"Thanks for today and the last month," she told him when they reached her front door. "No thank you," he told her, taking a step up to her, cupping her cheek in his hand. "Thank you for everything, giving me a second chance. Letting me get to know our son, everything," he told her in an emotional tone as he dropped his head against hers.

"We can only look towards the future now," she told him with a small smile as he leant in to kiss her lips.
