"Finn!" Finn's parents and brother came straight to the hospital when they heard.

Finn looked up at them with sad eyes. "She's hurt," He whispered.

He started to cry again, "she's hurt and it's all my fault mom, it's all my fault!" He shook as his mom instantly hugged him close to her.

"Oh no, Finn, no it's not your fault, shhh it's not your fault." She continued on and on whispering to him to calm him down.  

"It should have been me..." He whispered his face buried in his moms jacket. His mom continued to rock him and whisper to him that none of this was his fault.

He had no way of knowing what would happen.

He didn't know his ex would be there.

He didn't know she would kiss him.

He didn't know.

He didn't know anything.

But to him. He should have. He should have known everything. It was all his fault in his head. All of this. Everything. Because of him.

None of the words his mom told him worked.
