Chapter 17 - Daydreamin'

I asked him as he turned his attention back to me,

"No one. Let's just enjoy this disgusting morning as we prepare for work?"

I giggled at his bitter statement as we both enjoyed our breakfast and left the restaurant to get to work, Louis grabbed my arm before I could go to my car.

"How about I bring you to work and then I'll drive you back here to get your car later?"

I smiled and nodded my head, he grabbed my hand and lead me to the passengers seat and gave me a sweater.

"What is this for?"

I asked as he got in his seat and started the car.

"It's for in case you get cold."

He started driving off as his attention was directly on the road while I took a second to smell it. I could smell his strong cologne on it from miles away. He couldn't have changed his fragrance in two years?

I slipped it on with an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I feel like it's wrong to be wearing Louis sweater while I'm with Kendall because the sweater resmbles a piece of Louis.... But I don't want to take it off. Gosh, I really need to start some self-counceling on self control!

"You alright there, love?"

I looked at him,

"Yup, I'm all good why?"

"No reason. You were just saying your thoughts out loud. That's all."

He grinned, oh shit! I really need to control myself better or else he might think I'm-

"Still in to me. Yeah, figures."

Louis finished for me. I took a deep breathe.

"I need to tell you something Louis, but this has to stay between us."

Louis nodded his head allowing me to continue.

"When I went with Zayn to help him during his tough time and you and Perrie showed up. He kissed me."

Louis stopped the car, as I heard a screech,

"What? Why?"

"Because! He just lost his sister and he wasn't really thinking. I haven't talked to him since and I really need to, so when you see him today. Please tell him to come see me! Please!"

I pleaded as Louis started going back on the road,

"Fine. But if I hear any more about this. I'm going to have to tell Perrie. She is my best friend, you know that right?"

I nodded my head,

"I've known that for a long time."

He smiled as I just looked out the window and stayed quiet the rest of the ride.

- Kendall's POV-

I ended up at work late because Rox didn't wait up for me. I walked in to see Carlos and Logan talking away and Liam and Niall playing videogames.

"Guys, did Roxy get here? I didn't see her car in the parking lot?"

"Uhm, yeah she came here with Louis-"

Liam said as I automatically yelled,

"what?"

I said as the guys stopped playing as we all went to Roxy's office, we saw them laughing as they both sat at the piano.

"Hey Rox."

I said as I went over to her and kissed her cheek, in return I got a death glare from Louis. He doesn't care about her as much as I do so he should just back off.

"Hey babe."

"I need some help with a song."

She nodded as I took her hand and we went over to her desk.

"So show me the song."

She smiled as I took it out,

She read it over and smiled even wider than before.

"You wrote this song for me?"

I nodded my head as she squeezed me, I looked to see Louis continously giving me the death glare. In return, I showed him my lucky finger and mouthed 'fuck you'

She let go as Louis stood up,

"Where are you going?"

She asked Louis as his eyes lit up,

"I'm going to talk to Zayn."

She nodded as he left, there is something going on between those two and I'm really sure that I don't want to figure it out.

-Roxy's POV-

I was all alone just checking my website out for Simon in the living room of Syco records. I noticed someone sit beside me.

"Louis said that you wanted to see me?"

I looked up to see Zayn. He looked like he was fine, but I know inside he wasn't.

"Yeah I did. We need to talk about... The kiss."

Zayn's eyes widened as I quickly put my hand on his to calm him down,

"I know that you didn't mean to. I understand. You're just uncontrollable when you lose someone you love, I understand that completely. Let's just push this aside and pretend like it never happened, ok? There's no need to mention it to Perrie."

Zayn nodded as he eased and started rubbing his thumb over my hand.

"Thanks Roxy. You are the most important person in my life right now."

I hugged him as we saw Perrie come out.

"What the fuck? Why would you fucking play me Zayn? And with my best friend?"

She grunted and took off her engagement ring and threw it at him as she ran off,

"What are you doing? Go get her!"

I demanded as Zayn instantly got up and ran after her. This is a disaster! I didn't know that she was listening to us! This is just another mess that I'm going to have to clean up.
