Internal Fight

Let's be heroes for today,

put ourselves in danger for the world.

But once the evil is gone,

who will save us, 

from ourselves. 

Let's write our own stories,

with our blood as ink,

our tears as a way to erase

any mistakes we've made. 

But some are just,

permanent. 

Let's not waste time deciding what to be,

or who to be,

let's just be. 

We can be heroes in our own stories.

or the villain.
