True to her word, the Rassolnik was ready three minutes later.

I was seated between Wanda and Redgie as Natasha had Steve carry the Rassolnik to the table while she carried the green beans and potatoes.

Wanda and I were all but wiggling around in our seats, we hadn't had Rassolnik in so long...

Natasha noticed, "If you like my food so much, you just have to ask," she told us with a smirk.

Wanda and I fought for the ladle to scoop the soup, I was faster.

I put three scoops into my bowl and two into Wanda's before putting it back.

Neither of us touched the sides in favor of the soup.

"I thought you said chicken and gnocchi was your favorite soup," Redgie commented as he served himself some.

"It is, but this is childhood," I informed him as I took another spoonful into my mouth.

By the time everyone had fixed themselves a bowl, Wanda and I were ready for a second.

Tony showed up during our third, "So, I was thinking..." he started as he fixed himself a bowl.

"That's never a good thing, " Natasha cut him off.

He sent her a look before looking at Redgie, "Pepper's been complaining about being understaffed," Tony went on as he picked at his bowl.

Redgie looked confused, "Who's Pepper?"

Tony made an effort not to look offended.

"The CEO of Stark Industries," Steve chimed in.

"You want to give Redgie a job?" I asked, actually putting down my spoon.

Tony nodded, "If he wants it, I can probably get Pepper to hire him unless he's secretly a murderer or something. In that case we'd probably drop him off at the police station," Tony babbled.

I looked over at Redgie, who had frozen, "Why would you want to hire me?" Redgie asked.

Tony looked like he was two seconds away from rolling his eyes. "Because Speedy likes you, do you want it or not?"

Redgie stared at him for a moment before giving a slow nod. "Great you can go to the tower tomorrow,".
