Temporary Goodbyes

The week went by like in a flash. The two had been getting closer, so close in fact it was like they were best friends. After a week, I hear you ask. Well yes they couldn't believe it either but it was like they had this unbreakable bond and remarkable chemistry together.

The two where both at the Palace Arcade, having the time of their lives playing retro arcade games like "Dragons Lair" or "Dig-Dug"

"I hate this over priced bullshit!" Finn complains, kicking the arcade game that was Dragons Lair

"HA Finn your horrible!" Millie teases

"Yeah yeah whatever." Finn sighs, drinking from his bottle of water.

Millie notices the slight sweat on his forehead and his clammy hands, she smirks to herself. Although he was extremely sweaty Millie had to admit, he looked pretty gorgeous. She had come to terms with this, this week that Finn was a great looking guy but she had no feelings for him. The slight tingle she received just from mere contact with his hand wasn't anything, or the fact his smile makes her find it hard to breathe, that means absolutely nothing.

"Come on let's do something fun." Millie drags him by the hand out of the arcade making Finn smile...a lot

"What do you want to do?" Finn asks, "it is your last day here after all." Finn frowns, his one and only friend will be leaving tomorrow and he couldn't be more devastated

"Hey, it's going to be okay finnie, you're going to be okay. You already have my number so just call if you need anything." Millie smiles rubbing his arm up and down

"Anyway lets go to the tree!" Millie smiles brightly making Finn laugh as she grabs his hand and drags him to the location that was about three quarters of a mile away.

The journey was filled with comfortable silence but sometimes it would be broken by the odd question being asked to try to get to know each other better, even though the two already know each other like the palm of their hands

They arrive at the tree with fields of vibrant green grass surrounding it, it was decided that this place was their place.

They both sit down at the bottom of the tree just talking and laughing. Millie thought Finn was so cool and chill

"Finn?" She asks raising her head off of his chest.

"Yeah?" He asks, his heart beat rising because the girl was very close to his face right now.

"You remind me of the turtle from Finding Nemo, you're so chill and cool." Millie smiles making Finn burst out laughing, only making Millie's smile widen

"Crush the turtle?" Finn ask skeptically

"Yeah." Millie replies laying her head back on his chest, only making Finn more nervous because of the fact the girl he kind of likes as more than a friend has her head against his chest, playing with his hand

"Speaking of crushes, have you ever had one?" Finn asks making Millie smirk

"Smooth Wolfhard, So smooth." Millie tilts her head back laughing, making Finn blush.

"Shut up, you know I'm just curious." Finn buried his face into the palms of his hands

"Awe is someone blushing?" Millie smiles teasingly as Finn only frowns more embarrassed
