*Comparison*

The mesh on a cot is loose,
But it has too many large holes.
The mesh of a cloth is tight,
But it tears in peices with forces.
But the mesh of our fingers interwoven,
That is better than a cot and cloth,
Is loose enough to be free,
And tight enough for our forever.

The flow of river is reviving,
But it lacks the loving ballads.
The flow of blood is resurrecting,
But it does not make me feel alive.
But the flow of your thoughts,
In the gleeful ridges of my mind,
Is reviving to my aching soul,
And resurrects me from your painful absence.

The smile of sun is warm and satisfying,
But it does not melt the snow of storm.
The smile of the dandelion is soft and sweet,
But it does not last against the winds.
But your smile is an addiction,
Warm, satisfying, soft and sweet,
And much more mischievous,
It it leaves a permanent mark on my heart.

The touch of the wind is feathery,
But it does not make me shiver.
The touch of fire is burning,
But it does not scar my skin.
But the touch of your love,
Weaving through your fingers in my hair,
Leaves me breathless on a mountain peak,
Where coming back down is not an option.

____________
A/N:

This is a highly unusual one, i know, but i felt atleast 1 poem on love is mandatory.
And since i wanted it in a comparison form, i felt rhyming can take a backseat today.

Tell me your views on it.
