josh was in his room, he'd stuffed his blanket at the bottom of his door, as was sat at his desk with his bong. he waited for the smoke to fill the neck before removing the bowl and inhaling quickly.

he wasn't really having a great buzz, like a bee, he was just bored as shit. what else could he do on a thursday evening? smoke.

or he could throw himself off a tall building somewhere, it had crossed his mind, but he was too lazy right now.

climbing up from his desk, knocking over his pile of laundry josh swore, rubbing his knee and settling himself flat in his stomach on his crappy bed.

josh. was. bored.

rubbing his eyes, he stretched out, stifling a yawn, he could nap? "pfft"
he blew air out of his tightly pursed lips, causing them to vibrate, it felt so weird. did it always feel weird? or was the weed having a nicer feel now?

not caring either way, josh rubbed a hand through his longish red hair, needing a cut, he mentally reminded himself and rolled onto his back, sleeping.

when josh woke up, his room was submerged in darkness, he really liked this. with a huff, he swung his legs over the edge of his bed, he hadn't tucked himself in last night so he was reasonably cool.

he slid his phone off the cool dresser, it showed "3:41" josh smirked. unlocking the screen, he scrolled through his contacts until he found jay's.

he hesitated to call him, but settled on texting him, he didn't wanna appear needy and his family were in bed, josh was so considerate.

picking his feet up an extra centimetre or so to avoid scuffing his feet on the ground. he hadn't yet put shoes on but it was just respectful.

that's what i was always like in josh's house. his good little christian family, and their stoner-college-drop-out-depressed son.

sounds about right.

josh first person p.o.v

"thanks" i mouthed, placing a cigarette jay had given me into my mouth. he nodded, shoving his hands back into his pockets.

the smoke filled my mouth, closing my eyes i leant back, letting the smoke hit my lungs before exhaling.

felt good to smoke a proper fag again. "thanks man, honest, been a dry couple of weeks." josh ran a shaky hand through his hair, a subconscious habit of his.

jay nodded. "are you still seeing mathew?" i physically cringe. god, it still hurt to hear his name. shaking my head, i closed my eyes. not really smart to be crying about my ex-boyfriend to my "christian, not homophobic but didn't understand" weed dealer, those were his exact words.

he was right, he wasn't homophobic. he offered me a hand off the ground and i brushed my ass. my head was starting to go light, it was nearing sunrise.

i locked eyes with jay, we nodded and headed our separate ways. man, i would fucking kill for someone to slap me right now.

A/N another shitty fanfic that'll flop but fuck it i need joshler smut LMAO
