Kenzie's POV
I woke up the next morning with texts from Johnny.
Johnny 💕: good morning princess
Princess 👑: good morning Johnny
Johnny 💕: Is it cool if me and the guys walk with you girls to school?
Princess 👑: yes that's fine.
Johnny 💕: ok see you in 30 ❤️

I got up and took a shower. I put my outfit on.
I was wearing a stripe cropped shirt with a tied jean jacket and a black skirt.

After I did my hair and makeup I packed up my bag and walked to Lauren and Johnny's. When I got there I already saw Lauren Johnny Hayden and Carson waiting outside. I walked up to them and saw Johnny smirking and staring at me. I ignored what he was doing.
K; shall we go then?
We start walking to Brynns house and she's arguing with some guy outside. I immediately realize who it was. It was Jacob Sartorius. Brynns ex. Carson runs up there and defends Brynn. Jacob drove off and we all ran up to Brynn. She was crying and hugging Carson. They are cute together. We started walking to school and Brynn told us why they were arguing, still crying into Carson's shoulder.
B; when we broke up we had a deal that if we were both single than on this date we would hook up. I had forgotten to tell him about Carson because that only happened yesterday. So I told him about Carson and he said I should've told him before he drove down here. And I know I should've I just forgot.
C; well your fine now. You need to stop crying. I don't like to see you like this.
She looked up at him and he kissed her forehead.
K; awww they're cute.
Johnny grabbed my hand and we walked in to the school grounds. When we walked into the building Carson and Hayden went first then Lauren and Brynn. Then it was our turn I took a deep breath and we walked in. Everyone was staring at us. I Leaned closer to Johnny as I heard the whispers

We got to our lockers and I leaned up against them. I saw Nadia out of the corner of my eyes and put my hands around Johnny's neck. He was confused for a second until he saw Nadia. He wrapped his arms around my waist And stepped closer to kissed me. We kissed for about a minute before the bell rang. He smirked at me then walked to his locker. I opened my locker and got my books out then headed to class. After second period I went to my locker and saw everyone already there. I put my books in the locker and a noticed a note. I read it in my head.
Dear bitch,
I noticed what you were doing with my man earlier. And I thought I should let you know that we hooked up during first period. You chose to mess with the wrong person.

I folded the note and held it in my hand. I looked around the room and saw Nadia smirking at me. Johnny walked over and right away I excused myself and ran to the bathroom. Lauren and Brynn followed me. I don't know why I was crying. I don't like Johnny... do I? Lauren and Brynn hugged me and asked me what happened. I showed them the note.
K; I don't know why I'm crying! This is a good thing. I helped Johnny get what he wanted.
I continued to cry.
K; why am I crying?!
B; because you like Johnny!
K; no I don't!... do I?
I slumped to the floor against the wall and put my face in my knees. The bell rings and I stand up fix my makeup take the note back and go to class. All I could think about was whether or not I like Johnny. Eventually it was lunch and we sat at our usual table. My eyes were red and puffy but I hid it the best I could with makeup. I still had the note folded in my hand. The guys walked in and sat with us. Johnny sat next to me. I put my head down in my arms in the table and Lauren and Brynn looked sad too. They hugged their bfs. But they still looked sad they barely ate.
J; Kenzie what's wrong?
I put my head up and lie
K; nothing. I'm just tired.
Tired of bullshit.
K; can I have my gift cards now?
J; what? Why?
K; because you got what you wanted now I want my half.
J; what do you mean I got what I wanted?
K; you hooked up with Nadia, made her jealous. Can I please have my gift cards now?
J; I don't have them. And I didn't hook up with Nadia.
K; yes you did
J; who told you that?
A tear trickled down my face and I grabbed his hand put the note in it and started to pack up my stuff. He read the note out loud. Hearing it again made me want to cry even more. I grabbed my bag and ran out of the lunch room. I was sobbing so much. It wasn't that long when Johnny caught up with me and pinned me against the wall. He stood really close to me, we were breathing the same air.
J; Kenzie.
I try to get out of his grip on my wrists but it gets stronger.
J; Kenzie listen to me!
K; why should I?! You don't need me anymore! You got what you wanted!
J; I didn't hook up with Nadia!
K; you made her jealous isn't that what you wanted?!
Almost everyone came out of the lunch room and was watching. The whispers hurt me even more.

He ignored my question. He let go of one of my wrists and held the not in front of my face.
J; this note does not have one thing true in it.
He threw it on the ground and I tried to push him off with my free hand. He got hold of it again and held it up against the wall like the other. Tears still coming out of my eyes. Everything was getting blurry. I looked down. Johnny let go of my wrists but he didn't let me move.
J; Kenzie.. this whole thing was to get Nadia to get jealous. But it's not about that anymore. As we've been talking and hanging out I've grown feelings for you. I really like you Kenz and I know you like me too.
K; how would you know that?
J; because no one gets this upset when they hear their fake boyfriend hooked up with another girl if they didn't have feelings for them.
He started to walk away but I pulled him back into a kiss. He kissed back until my arms found away to his neck.
