‘Nakapagmove on na siya’ Tagos sa puso ni Julie tong sinabi ni Maqui, but then she realizes na wala pala siyang pake kung nakapag move on na ba siya or hindi.

“I was just curious about that time. Pero yang feelings na sinasabi mo, I doubt kung meron pa. Well hatred meron because of what he did a while ago. But love? No, never again.” She swears, and she’s not lying, she’s serious.

<Julie’s POV>

I’m engaged in the thought of what to eat, salad or oatmeal? It is dinnertime and ayoko namang tumaba so no rice during dinner. But honestly, I don’t really feel like eating anything.

Papasok na sana ako ng room ko nang biglang may tumawag sa phone ko na nasa dining table.

“Hello?” I answered after seeing that it’s Alden.

“Julie! How did the meeting go?” He suddenly asked.

Nagulat ako kasi parang sumisigaw siya, “It was fine. Are you okay? Ba’t ka sumisigaw?”

Napabuntong hininga siya, “Well, so you saw him?

Hindi ako makapagsalita, paano kaya niya nalaman?

“My mom told me a while ago na HM Enterprise pala ung company, and doon ko lang narealize na that’s Elmo’s dad company.”

Ahh, kaya pala. Hindi ko naman masisisi si Ms. Beth, hindi niya kasi alam kung sino ung guy, ang alam lang niya is ung nangyari saakin.

“I am so sorry.” He apologizes nung hindi ako nagsalita.

“Why apologize? It’s not like it’s your fault. It’s nobody’s fault. I just have to deal with it and matatapos din tong project na to in no time.”

“Are you sure?” May pagaalinlangan sa boses niya.

“Den, do you trust me?”

It took him about five seconds to answer, “Of course, I do. It is he whom I don’t trust.”

“You just have to trust me. Okay?”

Naramdaman kong tumango siya from the other line. Malinaw na rin naman sakanya na we’re just friends, and I know that he’s just concern because I’m his friend. And thankful naman ako to have a friend that is so protective like him, same din kay Maqui. Oh, God. I just realized that I have so many protective friends, well two is many.
