Note: You're a little more egotistical and confident in this story. Honestly, it's a little darker than I originally planned...

Harry gasped in surprise when he found you standing in Gryffindor common room. It had been over 5 months since the last time he saw you, and it had been even longer that you had started to become a wanted person. Even after you learned that you were wanted in the wizarding world you had come back to talk to Harry before disappearing once again. In truth, you visited Harry quite frequently.

You were turned sideways from where he was standing; your gaze was fixed on Black Lake while his was focused on you. You smiled before turning to him.

His eyes were wide and his mouth slightly agape as it truly hit him that you were standing in front of him. That made your smile widen as you fully turned your body to look at him. "Someone seems surprised to see me." Somewhere down the line you gained too much confidence and began to like the feeling of power. It wasn't good. That much you knew.

He finally snapped out of it. "What are you doing here?" He asked as he looked around the room as if to check if anyone was coming. Huh, he still cares, you think to yourself.

You laughed softly. "Don't worry, no one but you will ever know I was here?" A condescending smile made its was to your face as you asked, "Right? And here I was beginning to think that you didn't care."

Harry narrows his eyes. "I guess me stopping you all depends." He completely ignored you last sentence only confirming it.

You scoff as you pick up a book that was besides you. Although you scoffed you knew that if you didn't get out soon he would stop you; that's just who Harry was. A potions book. "Huh, guess you guys are getting quite far. I say it might be impossible to learn it... or will it!" You were merely joking with that but you knew it'd get to him.

Harry snarled. "Bad things happen to wizards who meddle with time! It's not too late you know."

Your smile fell at the words. In truth, you weren't sure if it's because deep down you did feel slight regret or if it's because it felt like nothing but lies.

You stood up to glare at him. "We both know it's too late! I'm not going to stop, Harry! It doesn't matter what you say!" At the point, it truly was too late. You had to keep traveling; you had to keep running.

After that you two stood in silence before you spoke again, "Listen, it's not all so bad. I know bad things happen to wizards who meddle with time but I'm smart about it."

You turn over to him to find him sighing. "Please don't..." He begged. Harry knew you well by this point. You were going to leave again, and he's be left regretting the fact that he didn't turn you in. He would be left with all the letters you still sent him from everywhere.

You smiled at him. "It's time for me to go Harry."

You took a deep breath as you said, "Remember I love you."

You spun your Time-Turner and soon Harry was out of sight.

Five months ago

You were breathing heavily as you walked up the steps of the boys dormitory. Harry turned to look at you with wide eyes full of concern and relief. "(Y/N), where have you been?"

He took you in his arms. Oh. How you missed this. How you missed him. "What's wrong?" He noticed that you seemed upset.

You made a mistake. You traveled too far. Traveled to when Harry didn't love you anymore.

"I just- had to see you again." I had to come back and see when you loved me. I had to come to a time when it was me that owned your heart and not Ginny Weasley.

Harry held you. "You know... it's not too late... please stay.."

"Maybe."

It was definitely too late. You were slowly going insane and coming back might help but... You couldn't go back and stop your attempting of murder.... because you hadn't attempted it yet....

You two had run out of time.
