Shade's rejection

Chapter 6

Shades pov:

Goddess my body hurts I thought and I slowly opend my eyes to a very unexpected sight.

Jacob and Jace holding my hands and asleep with their heads on my bed, i couldnt even move I had questions soreing through my head but he main one was "Why are they here?" and "where am I and hiw did I get here?" was a close second.

My whole body tensed when Jacob stirred and opeaned his eyes, our eyes connected and a big smile appeared on his face before he let go of my hand and wrapped his arms around me pullig me in to a hug. He pulled away and said.

"How do you feel?" he asked softly

"How, what, why?" once again the ability to speak left me

" I know we owe you a big explanation dont we."

I just nodded not trusting myself to speak.

"We'll explain just let me wake sleepy head over here" he said before shakeing Jace awake

"5 more minutes mom" he mumbled sleepy

"Jace wake up, Shades up and we have to explain everything to him"

When he said my name Jace was up faster than a bullet wrapping his arms around me and almost crushing me to death.

"Thank the Goddess your awake"  he said smiling

"Right we had better tell you what caused all of this shouldnt we" jacob said

I just nodded

"Well it all started 2 years ago a few days before we could smell are mates" he said

Flashback start

Jacobs pov:

"Hay baby" Tina purred in my ear

"Get off me Tina, we are not together" I told her pushing he off my arm and walking over to Jace who was doing the same with Belle or AKA major slut number 2.

"Look belle for the kast fucking time im not interested" he said to her shrugging he off.

"But im you mate how can you not be interested?" she asked stubbornly

"No your not my mate this much I know!" he exclaimed

"I will be you mate whether you like it or not" she told him before stomping off toward Tina

"Goddess why dosent she get the bloodly messages" he said to me pissed

"No idea" I shrugged as we walked in to the school

later at lunch

"Oh look here come the she devils one and two" he said pointing

"What do you two want?" I asked board

"is that anyway to talk to your mate?" Tina asked me

"look for the last time you are not our mates" Jace deadpanned

"Well I think you will be changeing your minds once you habe heard what we have to say" Belle said with a nasty look on the face

"And whats that?" I asked not likeing the look

"If you dont reject your mates then will kill them, simple as but it will be slow and painful via torture before we leave them to starve, so its your choice" she said spitefully before walking away with Belle

Flashback end

Shades pov:

"And you know the rest" he finished

To say I was stunned I an understatement.

"So you didnt want to reject me? you were forced to?" I asked

"HELL NO" they shouted in sync

A massive smile appeared on my face after they said that and I pulled them (somehow) in to me and wrapped my arms around them hugging them and they returned the hug as well, once again almost crushing me but I didnt care. As I pulled away I asked

"How come you didnt tell anyone?"

"After we rejected you, they gave us some rules that we had to follow or they would kill you and not telling any one was onr of the rules and we didnt want to risk your life" Jace explained

"Oh then why did you break those rules now?" I asked

"We made them promise not to harm you in anyway and we would agree to there terms but they broke that promise when Tina attacked you" Jacob told me

"How bad is it?" I asked them

"You will have some scars untill you mate" a voice said

Looking over toward the door we watched as a doctor stepped in along with Drake and Toby.

"We'll give you some time alone" Jace said "come on Jacob" grabbing his hand and pulling him out of the room.

The doctor checked my vitals before steppig out of he room and when he did Drake and Toby rushed forward and wrapped there arms around me.

"Thank the Goddess that you are ok" drake exclaimed

"You had us scared for a minute there" Toby said letting go of me

I just smiled at the two of them before starting to cry.

"hey hey whats wrong?" Drake dpsaid concerned

"Nothings wrong its just nice to know that you care" I said smiling

"The two of us consider you are son, it would be wrong of us not to care" Toby said

That shocked the hell out if me, I mean I always thought that toby veiwed me a brother in law but never did I think he would consisder me his son, that brought a new wave of tears and once again I was pulled into there arms and I just thought my life is finally going right.
