DISARRAY (Niall Horan A.U)

Chapter 15-part 2

Rae grabs a knife and starts cutting pieces. I pull out the candles and then place forks on the plates. That goes by quick and soon everyone has a piece. Niall finds his place next to me. I watch as he closely looks at the cake. In the spur of the moment I push Niall's face into his piece of cake. When he lifts his face up there are chunks of cake stuck to his face. I start laughing immediately. That's what he gets for throwing a grape at me and for making me swim. Payback is a real bitch. As I'm laughing Niall takes one of the small chunks that is stuck to his face and shoves it in my mouth.

"How does that taste, huh?" Niall says through laughter.

"Your disgusting," I mumble through a mouthful of cake.

Everyone around us is laughing as they watch our interaction. Liam is the only one who does not look happy about it. I don't let him bother me though. I turn my attention back to Niall. We smile at each other and everything feels right between us.

I end up sharing my piece of cake with Niall since most of his ended up on the ground. After we share my piece he gets another piece. I don't know why we even shared. As we are all talking and I keep trying to take bites of Niall's new piece of cake the stalkerish weird girl walks up to Niall.

"Hey Niall, happy Birthday." She says way too happily. She looks so familiar, but I can't figure it out.

"Crystal, thank you and thanks for coming!" Niall gives her a one handed hug and I'm hit with a pang of jealousy.

"Thanks for inviting me Jess." This Crystal girl looks over at me.

"You're welcome, but I didn't invite you." Rae elbows me as soon as the words leave my lips. "What? I don't know her. How could I have invited her?"

"I invited her so you basically invited her since we are related," Brett speaks up.

"I got you this. Its nothing big, but I hope you like it," Crystal softly says while handing Niall a small box.

I want to throw up with how dainty she acts. No girl with self respect acts like that. Rae elbows me again. I mouth "what" to her and she mouths "be nice." I roll my eyes, but I force a smile on my face.

"Crystal that is so kind. Thank you so much. Once I get changed I will catch up to you and we can hang out." Niall smiles so big.

Well this is great. Niall talks about how he wants to spend time with me and then he tosses me aside when Crystal comes along. Ugh, who even cares. He can just run off with her for all I care. Stupid Niall. Stupid Crystal and stupid Brett. I need a drink and fast. I leave this stupid conversation and walk over to the booze. I make the same drink as before, but I add extra vodka. I chug it quickly and then make myself another one. When I walk back over to my group of friends I push Harry over so he stands in between Niall and Rae. I am now tucked in between Rae and Louis. I sip on my drink slowly at first, but as I listen to Crystal and Niall I start drinking it faster. Surprisingly Niall notices that I'm not by him anymore and that I'm chugging alcohol.

"Jess, why are you all the way over there?" I stand there in shock over his question. "Let's go get a drink. I will be right back Crystal."

***What is Niall doing? It's like he can't decide on who he wants to be with. I'm not going to get a drink with him, yeah right. I don't have much of a choice though. Niall walks up to me and grabs my hand. He pulls me over to the table full of booze. He bends down and hands me a bottle of water.

"Niall if you want to be with Crystal, then go hang out with her." I surprise myself at how calm I sound.

"I want to hang out with both of you." Ouch.
