My mother's friends son is now my new friend.

His name is Richie and he also came to my birthday party which wasn't exactly a party since it was just the two of us in a big, cold, empty house.

Richie is very loud and makes horrible jokes but he's also very fun company.

We watched movies and played with the weird things he brought from his home.

He asked me if we wanted to ride with our bikes and I got very embarrassed when I had to admit that I can't ride on a bike since I never had one.

He shook his head and told me that he would teach me.

Maybe we can get on our bikes and ride far away from home together so we can live free someday, Bill.
