I would be lying if I'd say that I didn't hear what he said that night. But that doesn't mean that I have to conclude right on. Sawa na akong umasa sa mga salita na binibitawan nila. So I chose to ignore it. I don't want to risk it. We're only starting our friendship and I don't want it to be damaged.

Sabi nila, Actions speak louder than words. However, that saying doesn't apply to everyone. Take Clarence for example.  Masyado akong umasa sa mga ipinakita niya. Guess it was just too good to be true.

Clarence is handsome and someone who'll make you take off your clothes in front of him when he asks you to. Good thing I didn't get to that point. I knew I had to save myself from that. After all, he's Clarence Perez and with him, I'm up to no good.

My phone beeped and I checked whose message it is.

I replied him with a K. and he sent me some weird emoticon ">////

I tied my hair in a bun and got dressed. We're on for a trip to Enchanted Kingdom today. It's his birthday today and he said he wanted to spend it there. Isip bata.

"Karen, Xavier is here," sigaw ni Ate Queen from the sala. I immediately went out of my room and I saw him wearing a grey hoodie, pants and sneakers. Simple but enough for my liking.

X and I have been friends since that night. We talk regularly. That means: text messaging, phone calls, skype, FB chat, Twitter DM and tweet. But it's clear to me that we are only friends. I'm not really disappointed.

March na ngayon and I haven't seen Clarence in the few weeks that passed. Time flies fast but my feelings for him just won't go away fast. But I am thankful however na nabawasan na 'to.

"Looking good, Lola." He was sitting on the couch. Nakasalumbaba siya at nakangiti. Typical Xavier. I was wearing a striped blouse, shorts, and my trustworthy doll shoes.

"Loko. Where's Charm?" I asked. Kinuha ko yung bag ko and sat beside him.

He looked at me, troubled. "A-ano eh." He scratched his nape and smiled wickedly. "She won't be coming with us." 

"So, tayong dalawa lang? Ano 'to? Date? Tigilan mo ako ha." 

He draped his arms on my shoulders and pulled me close to him. "Baliw. If I'd ask you out on a date, sisiguraduhin kong maayos yung invitation."

Binatukan ko siya and we both laughed. "Sira ka talaga."

We arrived Enchanted Kingdom by 4pm. Mas gusto niya kasing pumunta ng late para daw hindi na mainit. Arte ng lalaking 'to, akala mo naman kaputian. Sarap niyang hampasin ng bangs ko eh!

He paid for the tickets and we went inside the amusement park. Nagulat ako nang hinatak niya ako papunta sa Roller Skaters. Kiddo. Buti na lang at kaunti ang tao ngayon at nakasakay kami agad. After that, dumiretso kami sa EKstreme at Anchors Away. Ilang beses rin kaming nagpaulit-ulit sa tatlong yan.

"Seriously, X? Gusto mo ba akong pasukahin ng pasukahin? Mga unang rides pa lang binabaliw mo na ako eh." I punched him jokingly on his stomach. Kainis! Buti na lang at malakas ang tolerance ko sa ganito.

"Nag-enjoy ka naman eh. Ulit pa tayo?" He asked as his eyes sparkled with joy. 

I shaked my head. "Tara naman sa ibang rides. Nasasawa na ako sa mga sinakyan natin." He obliged but said that we should grab some snacks first. Buti naman at nagutom din siya.
