Preventing myself from falling for Clarence Perez is like preventing myself to breathe. In two weeks, there was never a day that passed that we failed to talk to each other.

Kaya lang, hindi personally. Every night, he would call me and ask me the same thing. Laging ganun ang linya niya sa akin. "Karen, gusto mo ng saging ko?"

And as time passed, tinatawanan ko na lang 'yung tanong niya. Kapag hindi ko narinig ang boses niya, kulang ang araw ko. Juicecolored, Karen! Ano'ng nangyayari sa'yo?

I have known him for a month now. It might be too early for me to say this, pero I think I'm falling for Clarence. Fast and hard.

Today's the first day of February, and Clarence Perez asked me to spend the day with him. Mind you, hindi pa kami. Yes, hindi pa. I'm still believing that someday, KaRence will happen. Hah, now I'm thinking. 

I checked myself in front on the mirror again. Ang ganda ko talaga forever. Ay, kulang pala ang term na ganda. Mas appropriate if I'd say, "Ang dyosa ko talaga forever."

Clarence said that he'd be fetching me today. Ganda mo talaga, Karen. Ang gwapo ng driver mo!       

"Para kang timang, Karen. Ngiti ka ng ngiti mag-isa," sita ni ate Quween. I shrugged as a reply. Ang gandang timang ko naman, diba? "Wala pa ba boyfriend mo?"

I laughed at her. Boyfriend? No, we're not even close to that. But I wish he was my guy.

I was busying myself by reading HTBWTBB on my phone when the doorbell rang.

It must be him. My heart raced and I became anxious of how I look like kahit na alam ko naman na dyosa ako.

Ate Queen opened the door and there stood Clarence wearing blue polo and shorts. It was a simple outfit but he looked like a model in it.

"Ready?" he asked, grinning.

"Y-yeah. I'll just get something. For a sec."

He nodded and I went inside my room. Wala naman talaga akong kukuhanin but I need to calm myself. Jesus! Karen, it's just Clarence Perez. Okay? I did the breathing exercise to calm myself.

After a few minutes, lumabas na ako. I saw him checking out the photos displayed on the shelf.

"Ang ganda mo na pala noon pala," he commented as he held up a picture frame. I blushed in an instant. "Cute mo."

I punched him playfully on the arm and sneered at him. "Halika na nga!" I turned to ate Queen and saw her smiling like an idiot.

Pagkalabas namin, I immediately saw his car. He opened the door for me and I thanked him. He went to the other side and went in.

His car smelled like his scent. So addicting! I also noticed two pieces of banana on his dashboard. Really, Clarence? May lahi ka ba ng unggoy?

"Gusto mo? Kuha ka na lang," he said as he started the engine.

"No, ok na ako. Where are we off to?" I inquired. Baka pala mamaya sa bodega ako dalhin nito.

"MOA. Okay lang ba?" He seemed to be nervous. Maybe he's thinking na magrereklamo ako sa pupuntahan namin.

Kahit saan, as long as kasama kita. "Sure." And gave him a smile.

The ride to MOA was awkward. Wait, is this a date we are having? He asked me to spend the day with him, so I suppose that this is a date we're having.
