i can't wait until i leave that house.
where i always have to agree with peace
because i can't forget that they are the cat and i am the mouse.
where caring for me is them keeping me on a leash
yet having no intention of going anywhere.
where "i'm only doing what's best for you"
is "you won't have anything i didn't have."
where the main argument is "i gave you food
and a roof on top your head,"
as if that wasn't the bare minimum a parent is supposed to do.
where "i love you,"
is a burden to continue to say
and where at the end of the day
we are all crying in our beds, waiting for the pain to subdue.
