chapter 2

He sits at the end of the table where all the drinks where. He wags his tail as I sit next to him on the sand, I could hear wolves jump in to the springs and I kinda wanted to go in to but I dont want to go home wet. "Tell me about yourself sage" I lift my head up where the same height but he seems so much bigger. "Oh uh.. like what ?" He smiles showing us white teeth. "Ok I'm Xavier Noch, from pack noch, next to rule. I have no younger or older siblings and I love birds" he nods at me "ok um I'm sage rouno I dont be long to a pack but I'm a songy and I have 8 siblings" he nods "a songy? I dont see much of them around here that's so cool!" His eyes widen with excitement. "Dont songy have young packs?" "Yea we do but my mom wont let me leave." I feel shaky and I look at a wolf, tall and strange markings, a songy. He winks at me
"That's why I came here to find more like me so I can run from my house"  "You dont like your home? Why would you want to leave?" "It once felt like home but now... I need to leave it's in my blood to be alone that's why we only have young packs" as hes looking the other way I walk over to the songy, i shouldn't feel bad, Xavier would have just played with me, he wont  even know I'm gone. "Hay there kid" I look up at him his sent tells me hes a full breed but his fangs aren't showing to hes not an adult yet. His markings are pointy and sharp on his thick coat and his eyes are grass green he looks like trouble. "my names sage" "names slate, what you doing talking to wolves and not me?" I smirk "I didn't know you where here slate I didn't even know there was more songies here" he circled me looking at me, "your pretty young trying to find a mate." I look at him hatfully "what makes you think I'm looking for a mate" he tilts his head "that's all girls go to parties for" I nod he leand down "well was I right little girl?" He is way to close to me and I realise I'm not ready for any of this!. I grow and get defensive "dont tuch me mutt" with a stupid grin he comes closer. "Hay what's your problem?" Xavier raised his tail. He growled and walked away "your not worth my time pup". "What a jerk,you dont need that in your life" I nod. "Come on sage let's have fun it's a party after all!"
