Work part 4

Everything went smoothly in the morning until something unexpected happens.

After wrapping up the filming, on the way back to the van, the car's surrounded by waiting paparazzi but suddenly a man armed with a knife charged through the crowd and aimed for Kim Bum Chul. Although he wasn't stabbed but the knife grazed through his jacket. This caused an uproar at the scene. The man was arrested to the police station but the rest of the schedule got canceled for the day.

Seon Mi quickly rush to the office to sort out the matter but suddenly something rings in her mind.

She checks something on the laptop and is shocked at what she found. The attacker.......

Is the man on the half ripped photo left behind by Gong Ae Jung on the rooftop.

Is that.......Gong Ae Jung's former boyfriend? Former fiancé?

Is this crime of passion induced by love?

She checks for more information about Kim Bum Chul and finds.......unexpected things. For example, Kim Bum Chul goes through relationships really quickly. He has dated all sorts of women but, all shares similarities......

They are all beautiful, then rumors of them dating would break out and the woman will actively admit that it was them who started the relationship. They would then break up with the woman will lose all standing and reputation.

And before they dated Kim Bum Chul.......they don't seem like the type of people to dive into love irrationally. Some women even have families, they have husbands and children......Gong Ae Jung was not the first woman to be involved in such a scandal. Another female assistant was involved in the same situation a year ago but nothing was reported. Maybe....the company managed to prevent media coverage on that event???

She gets more frightened as she reads on.

"Lilian, you are so focused, what are you reading?" Someone walks through the door.

She saw the person and closes the webpage in a panic, accidentally knocking over a glass of water.

She quickly wipes the table and the man is already shooting her tentative looks.

"Is.........something wrong?" She slightly stutters.

When she lands her eyes on him again, it seems like he's not the person she thinks he is. Or in fact, she has never known his true colors.........

It seems like that he's always nice to all the ladies......but when you look at things more closely. It might not be a good thing to get close to him.......

What is going on?

"The thing is my clothes got ripped in the morning." He says apologetically.

"I still have activities to attend to this afternoon, can you please go to my house to grab me a new set of clothes? This is the address and here is the list of things I need."

He passes her a note and a set of keys.

She nods, looking at the big tear on his jacket.

"Sure." She stretches her hand to grab the note but he suddenly grabs her hand instead.

She's taken aback and tries to pull her hand back, only to realize that....it's not budging at all......

"You..........."

"Ever since the morning, as my assistant, you did not even bother asking or care if I was injured or not." His tone was light but his eyes show that he's not joking at all.
