The whole pep talk with Jade helped a lot. I didn't doubt my feelings for Chris anymore. I felt different... free and different.
It's Saturday!!! The best day of the week. Well in my opinion. I promised Jade I would meet up with her to buy dresses for prom. So I texted her.

"U ready"
"Ye meet me at the store in 5" she hung up.
1:59 P.M.
Jade and I finally chose an outfit. They were gorgeous and bold.
Prom is tomorrow! I am still so speechless that Chris asked me out of every other girl in the school.
The jock asks the outsider to prom! Hmmmm great story.
We managed to pick out one pair of shoes each and I went with these silver pumps and Kade with nude heels.
My eyes widened as I saw the receipt
$499!!!???!!!!
I swiped my card and left the store, Jade behind me.
