Jeonghan stormed out of the building.
He couldn't take it any more, he just couldn't. He was tired of getting used by people and he was done with second chances.
He heard footsteps following him, but he didn't turn around. Not this time, not ever again.
He could feel the tears streaming down his face and he tried his best to be strong, to not break down, but he couldn't hold it in any longer. It was cold outside and it was raining but Jeonghan didn't care, he ignored it and he kept walking straight ahead. He didn't even know where he would go, but he knew he just couldn't go back there.
"Jeonghan please, wait"
Jeonghan had heard him but he wouldn't turn around. Instead he started walking faster and faster and faster, until he was practically running away. He could feel his heartbeat in his throat, he could feel the horrible pain in his chest, but he ignored it. Soon he couldn't hear the other's footsteps anymore, and he was left with just the sound of raindrops falling on the ground. It soon dawned on him that he had nowhere to go, no one to run to. So he headed towards the only place he knew, trying to figure out just what he would do.
When he arrived at the park, it was completely empty. He sat on one of the benches and looked at the time on his phone:
00:10 AM
Shit.
There was no way he'd be able to find a room in a hotel this late, so he was basically homeless for the night. Soon enough, more tears filled his face. He looked up at the sky, trying to find comfort in the stars, begging to whoever could hear him to just fix everything. He just wanted to be happy again.
How could he have left? He clearly hadn't thought this through. What am I going to do now? He thought, trying his best to stay calm but failing miserably. He thought about all the things he could have done wrong, trying to find a reason why, but he just couldn't understand. Was he not enough? Was he too difficult? Was he too fragile? More tears started to fill his face and Jeonghan started sobbing loudly, no one would hear him anyway.
"Hey, are you okay?"
