first day of school

2 years ago finn and millie had a beautiful baby girl and named her elle.

an alarm goes off on millie's phone and wakes both finn and her. "morning sweets" finn says kissing her  lightly. she 'hm's' because of her tiredness.

finn opens elle's door quietly and sees her wrapped up in a blanket with her faced squished in her pillow. he smiles and thinks how he got so lucky.

"princess wake up" he softly says touching her shoulder. she moves and makes noises but still has her eyes closed. "i'm making choco chip wafflesss!" she says knowing her reaction.

she shoots up looking around for them. he laughs. "mama is cooking them downstairs , let's get you dressed ok bebe?" he says clapping his hands.
she rubs her eyes but nods her head.

he puts her in a blue t-shirt with overalls and a flanel and pig tails with some baby convers. "let's let mommy do your hair today" he says picking her up.

they walk downstairs and smell the delicious crispy breakfast. "hello mommy's girl" millie says in a baby voice kissing her nose. "how did i get so lucky" finn says smiling. millie kisses finn before taking elle and putting her in a high chair. "do you know what today is babes?" finn asks elle while she waits for her food.

she shakes her head. "today is your first day of school! so you can learn like momma and dadda used to back when we were kids!" he exclaims clapping his hands. a smile creeps on her face and little giggles here and there.

millie puts the tray in front of elle and grabs a piece of it and does an airplane in the air. "here it comesss!" she says circling it then putting it in her mouth.

"can daddy have some?" finn says to elle as she hands him a piece. "mm thank you princess" he says then booping her nose.

"baby i'm going to take a shower kay?" he says wrapping his arms around millie. "yeah well don't take forever and use up all the hot water!" she says laughing. he rolls his eyes jokingly and goes up the stairs.

time skip to school

elle is in the middle of the couple holding both of there hands waking to the school doors where are the little kids are waiting for the teachers.

a little boy comes up to elle and starts talking to her. you could see the protectiveness coming from finn as he fidgets looking down at them.

millie holds his arm telling him no.
he shakes his head and sees the teacher taking all the kids in. we flash her a smile before kneeling down to elle.

"have a good day princess, don't forget about us alright?" finn says holding on to her shoulders. she nods giving him a kiss. "and no boys!" he says then having millie smack his arm. "and be safe and we will be back at 3 pm alright nugget?" she says having a tear roll down her face. elle taking her small hand and wiping it off. "mama.." she trails off hugging her. making millie let out a small 'awh' she lets go and looks at all the kids sitting down. "alright go ahead and have fun ! be safe and make friends!" millie says standing up.

finn puts one hand on her lower back while she is turned sideways having one hand on his chest still watching her. "she's growing up way to fast" finn says. "cmon let's go , we have stuff to get around town" millie says not baring to stay any longer not to be clingy to elle for today.
